you're getting through!! You'll be glad to know that your blog is working. I'm at Steph and Jim's place on Long Island for a week to take care of Mia and Jakks. They have no school this week because of winter break. Steph went to Dallas last weekend to visit Tom, Tracy, and Zac. Kim and Melissa flew in from Rochester. They had a sibling reunion. I heard it was filled with wine, food, and lots of laughs. I'm not surprised!
I'm glad you are finally settled in your new teaching career. Every day will get a little easier, but the kids will always throw you a curve when you least expect it. That's par for the course. Just stay positive and all will be fine. You don't have to do this for the rest of your life, so there is some consolation in that. By the way, Pluto is no longer considered a planet, but a new one has been discovered. Check the internet on this info, I'm not all that certain.
Have fun and stay safe!!!
I love you!

Finally I am very relieved that things are working out for you in South Korea.
Certainly your mother got more than a few laughs out of the tales you tell about beginning teaching. We did NOT celebrate the year of the Pig here at all - sorry to disappoint. Keep yourself well and fine tune those lesson plans girl.
Love you - Uncle Tom
You made it! Hi Maggie,
I have been court up in work mode here Down Under and just clicked onto your Blogg. So proud of you - that you have stuck to your guns and you are now in Korea! Just remember the harder it is, the more rewarding it will be as I know you will conquer what ever you put your mind to.
I am in the process of selling my house and am planning on getting OS in May. At this point I am thinking of Cuzco in Peru. Last week I was thinking of Mexico, but I found out the place I was enquiring about was very isolated and that you need a Donkey to get in there. Decided that that is definitely not a goer!
Miss you - take care and keep your chin up

Ooops! I know it is now Monday in South Korea, but it is still Sunday, Feb.11 in Dallas, Texas. I can officially wish you a Happy Birthday, because I am
now fully aware of the day as well as the date. I've known all along that your birthday is Feb. 11, but I've completely lost track of the days. That's why I previously wished you a Happy Birthday for Saturday, rather than Sunday. At least this way, you get 2 birthday wishes from me. I hope you had a great 29th birthday!!! Funny thing! you and I are now the same age!!! Go figure....and I've had lots and lots (OK, and lots) of 29th birthdays!! Welcome to the club!
I love you, Sweetie!! Good luck with the new job!
Aunt Gail
It takes a lot of Soul to survive in Seoul!!! I just found your blog entry, Maggie. I'm sorry I haven't been in touch. This is quite an adventure, but at least now you have a warm coat. I hope you were able to find an ATM!!! I'm still in Dallas and will fly home Tuesday for 1 day. Then I am going to Long Island for a week and after that, back to Dallas for a week. I love reading your blogs, but you have me worried, Sweetie. The main thing is to get enough food and rest so that you can think with a clear mind.
I know that Saturday is your birthday. Hopefully you'll find some friends with whom you can celebrate! Happy Birthday!!!!! Keep smiling!! (It will make those d--- Koreans wonder what you've been up to!!) Things will get better!
I love you and think about you every day!!:)

Hang in there Sis Dearest Maggie,
I hope these comments help comfort you while you are so far away from home. I think you have the right approach, doing a little bit each day. I'll see what tips I can find out for you from Korean friends I have in NYC. Just think, as you are growing and changing from your adventure, so is your little niece or nephew! Love you lots, Jennifer
Where are you? Your last blog didn't actually get sent to me and you haven't written in awhile... I miss hearing about your adventures! I miss you! Write soon... Love heather
Whew!!! I hope now you are getting some rest and meeting some nice people to hang out with (hopefully, Westerners). This has been an amazing adventure so far. I have loved all of your pictures...you are a really good photographer! Your mom is here with me and we are headed to Grandpa's today. I leave for 3 weeks in Dallas with Tom and Zac while Tracy goes to England to be with her brother and sister-in-law. They are having a baby any day now. I can't wait to get my hands on Zac!! You're going to be an Aunt soon! How exciting!!! Personally, I can't wait either. I love having a new baby in the family. Such joy!!
Stay safe, Maggie. I love you!!!

Hi Maggie Hi Honey, I'm glad you're OK after your biking accident. That must have been scary. Your mother visited me today with Aunt Gail. The weather is very cold but sunny and sparkly on the snow and ice. I am getting your blogs regularly and printing and saving them. I think what you are doing is a wonderful experience for you, and I'm very proud of you. Get some rest before you move on to Bangkok. Stay safe.
Love,
Grandpa Walt
Mountain Biking How courageous you are! That was an extremely long and difficult bike ride. I am not surprised you tried it! Hope your injuries have healed.
Loved the photo of growing coffee beans.
Great Tour Maggie,
I really enjoyed this one--especially the floating market. How are the insects? I liked your photo on the boat. You look healthy. mom
Happy for you Maggo, this is crazy. I am excited to follow and read each one of your journal entries! What a great experience for you. I am glad you are with friends for the holidays. I am proud of you that you are visiting places like the hospital. The pictures alone were enough to bring tears, I am sure going there was unfathomable. Thanks for sharing all of this! How long do you want to stay there....in case I might be able to take my trip to the philippines afterall. Stay safe chica...
Cambodia I continue to enjoy your travel blogs, Maggie. Your adventure is so exciting!!! I do worry about you traveling alone, especially is such unsophisticated areas. I know you're being careful, and please continue to do so. When are you headed to South Korea? I love you!

I recently left my job, sold my car, dropped my cell phone, and moved to Phuket, Thailand to attend TEFL school. I hope to be in southeast Asia for at least a year, traveling and working, starting my new life adventure. ... full info
