Sounds like you are enjoying Phi Phi Island. It looks fab. We are so jealous and the weather we are having here. Peter you would want to watch those Ladyboys. I hear if they take a shine to you, thats it. You won't find until you are moving on to your next port of call. Hopefully you will enjoy it as well and then it will be your Christmas break resort. Hey how are you too keeping, eventually got on net to see your blog. All going well i hope, by thee sounds of ur blogs uv hada few hairy experiences lol in particular that toilet or should i say hole. Mud baths & massages sounds brill for £15. Alls same old same here apart from the lovely minus temperatures im sure thats one thing u dont miss. Well have a brilliant time and luk forward to seeing more photos. Take care.xxx

Funniest thing
Oh Andrea and Peter, well this blog would not open for me so I asked Priscilla to forward it to me. I am quite literally om stitches laughing. I was reading it out to Peter and I could not get the words out as I was laughing. I am sure none of this was funny at the time but when you read this again in months you will!! Bet Hong Kong will be a big change...I'm sure you are looking forward to your nice hotel. Let us know how it goes. Love getting these updates! Sounds mad over there, I would have a nervous breakdown with those toilets!! Id say you are both missing your home comforts but its a great experience to see all that. Cant wait to see photos. Its good you have another couple to talk to, 17 hours on a train would be a long time just the two of you. Those train journeys sound grim, i would probably spend my whole time sleeping. Looking forward to your next update...all good over here. Sounds like you are enjoying yourselves and learning some Chinese culture, not sure how some of those habits would go down in New Street. Can't believe you went for German ice cream in China, I hope you can cope with the changes to diet. I take it temperatures are low when you talk of hats and gloves, how many miles long is the train trip. Do you take the boat trip north again from Shanghai, that should get you very close to the life of ordinary folk in China. Keep us updated, take care of yourselves. Dad and Mum

Oh my god Andrea I am wetting myself in work people may think I have issues!! Your account of the toilet etc is very funny oh that may not be suitable for me!! I cant believe the chinese culture of being shoved around - and how were you able to stop yourself from loosing the plot completely!! Is it very westernized?? I thought tonight was your boat night??
