Wow-can't believe a month has passed. I'm not surprised that you have settled into a nice little routine. I'm very pleased to hear that you both seem to be finding your own individual niches. You have such a talent for making the world your oyster and this seems to be no exception. you could find a compadre' in a servicio (bathroom)-hey? I too am brushing up on my Spanish. It sure sounds intriguing! Stopped in to see Dominick at Harlins. It sounds like he's got a green light to come visit at the start of '13 and he's pumped. I might be inbound on a 1 way ticket during that same rough time frame. I might be coming down overland from Ecuador or La Paz. I might be receptive to staying for a while if there's any jobs available. Mizzou grad, business with 30 years experience in petroleum and biofuels but I'd teach english or whatever. Just wanted to give you a heads up so you can keep your orejas open for me. Hope we can do Salta too when I'm down there. Keep up the updates and the pisco sours!

We are thinking about trying to come home for Christmas but then back here early January and I am off all of Jan and Feb so traveling for sure!!! There are always English teaching jobs but they don't pay that well...but enough to get by and travel, which is all we care about!!! I will keep my ears open for sure! And Derek is the dude at Harlings :) Kurt's BFF for many, many years! :)

Happiness is contagious!
My beautiful angel-you are one of the most courageous, amazingly beautiful women I've ever known. It is a mother's duty to worry but I will worry less knowing you are so happy and living one of your great hopes and dreams. Continue to keep us posted and enjoy each day. Living in Chile vicariously thru U!!!
So fun! Love the pics and seeing you two...makes you not feel so far...It sounds like you r having such fun!!! Gordon is @ Mardigras with Mike and Bill and I r taking Bobbie and his mystery date to fat matts vortex lounge after our dinner tonoc to celebrate mardigras in KC. Thats all for now....Love

Hey beautiful daughter! So good to get more detailed information and pics to go along! Seems like I forget to ask questions when we talk so this will be a wonderful way to keep updated and to live vicariously through you 2. I was able to go to your blog site and just subscribe directly-so others should be able to as well. Thanks for the first vaca update! Wow. Brown desert. I sure hope you guys make it to southern Chile sometime to see some greenery. I took your Aunt Patty to another hippie town this weekend- Eureka Springs Ark. Twas fun! We sure want to make it down there in early 2013! Hope to!
