Honduras - El Progreso

This summer I will be spending a week on a service learning trip to Honduras. I will traveling to the city of El Progreso, located in the Northwestern region of the country in the province of Yoro. El Progreso is also the 4th largest city in Honduras after the capital, Tegucigalpa.

I will be working with other volunteers on one of the school projects in the village of Villa Soleada, learning about the culture and lifestyle of Honduras, spending time with the local children and their families, and of course brushing up on my Spanish.

I plan to update this blog daily (if possible) with stories of my journey and photos.
