Mixed of Romanic and Greek cultures in the modernity. I had the feeling that the locals didn't care enough about their roots. Their antient monuments are abandoned with seaweed growing and not even signalized. The original Pane Tree of Hypocrates is been killed and the replacement that is 600 years old is in a cage. All the big monuments have a big ugly trash can next to it so is impossible to take a good picture of the site. Called the butterfly island.Very autentinc no tourism at all. Hot, no wind. very desertic 3 villages and 2 taxis in the entire island. Very friendly though. The owner of the Internet Cafe in the main cafe offered to take the boss around. Tiny roads and steps lead to the Castle of the Knights that protected the city at the top of a hill with a pretty view of the port.... read more
