Well, I'm not going to lie...I'll be glad to leave London tomorrow. It is a wonderful, dynamic city with lots to see and do, but the pace is too hectic. Why are people so in a rush? I could really wax philosophic here, but I'll refrain for the sake of my gentle readers. We move on.... The British Museum is huge with a floor dedicated to the history of each continent. I enjoyed the Anglo-Saxon exhibit. But I think my favorite was two small rooms showing the history of clocks. (I know, typical Lori). They had clocks as early as the 1560's---huge, bulky, inaccurate contraptions, to the 1650's when the pendulum was first invented making time much more accurate. It really was interesting.
