In a month, I'll leave winter behind for equatorial Kenya. Serendipitous journey. Like other aspects of my life, this is something unanticipated, although more welcome than summer's jolt. While the first winter storm jackscrews outside, pushing snow into corners and crevices, I am about to dig through summer clothes and to picture myself in the rush of Nairobi, on the grasslands of the Masai Mara, and the beaches of Mombasa. Imagine.
