This is amazing! Thank you for sharing this wonderful story with the world. The vivid description and pictures made it feel like I traveled to Jerusalem right in my room. It’s great to learn more about the culture and character of the people. I easily get bored when I read stories about places or history, but I could not stop reading this until I got to the end of it. This is so rich and captivating. I’m itching to visit Jerusalem one day
This is amazing! Whenever I receive comments like these, I feel encouraged to write and share my travel experiences.
Jerusalem is one city that everyone should try to visit.
Thank you for sharing Israel - scratching the surface! The vivid seemed live description of "Israel - Scratching the surface!” touched my heart and soul, upon reading, it brought tears to her eyes! Be humble. Be kind. Be wise. Love the world, we are all the same!
Thank you Josephine I have only today noticed your comment about my blog on Jerusalem because I have not had time recently to check my blog until today.
I am pleased that you have been touched. It is a very special place that I hope to return to some day, God willing.
Useful information Hi
Very useful information on traveling light and keeping a low profile! I appreciate the tips on the car insurance and the beware of pick pockets in Europe! These are all great tips when traveling and will be noted. Safe trails!
So nice to see such a great relation between your brother and you. So lovely that you could share this special anniversary with him. It is not a given. Unfortunately many brothers or sisters don't like each other
Israel Words fail me to express what a great blog and great time you both had in Israel and beyond. How I wish my trip was a quarter of what you saw and experienced. As I usually say, your blogs take me right into the excperience itself as though I was there too. Excellently written and described from all angles. Thanks for sharing
Israel Good impartial blogging. But as I thought politics changes peoples' perceptions of reality. Remove politicians with vested interests and communities will thrive as God intended
Well Written Blog. A beautifully written and honest assessment of the situation at present in Israel.
It is als an unbiased and it was a pleasure to read.
Thank you. I love people everywhere I go and appreciate the circumstances under which many of them live, cementing my appreciation for both St. Lucia and my adopted country, Canada.

Surprise to see you in Jeruselem Hi Roger and Jeannette,
It was a pleasant surprise to see you at the cistern in at the Pilgrim House Via Dolorosa, Jerusalem! We certainly was a big group from St Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Rancho Cucamonga CA! I read with interest your travels and I hope that Jeanette's ankles will heal quickly! I agree that the Holy Land is an interesting and amazing place to visit, especially for one who is versed in biblical history and antiquities! I hope to keep in touch as we seem to love similar experiences! Petra, Via Dolorosa, Nazareth, Bethlehem, The Wailing Wall, Mt Camel, the Sea of Galilee, Jaffa, Mt of Olives, Mt Tabor, Tel Aviv, the Dead Sea and oh, so many more, are certainly a must visit in every Christian's spiritual journey! Stay blessed and continue to blog!
Jordan and Petra Hi Roger We enjoy reading about your travels in your blog. We are sorry to hear about Jeanette's accident and hope she is recovering well. We are familiar with the location having been there 2 years ago but we did not climb up to the monastery. Safe travels and God bless.

Jordan-Petra, and near Peril Hi Roger/Jeanette
Enjoying your great ‘reporting’ as usual. Sorry that Jeanette got hurt; we all know her to be tough, but be careful. Incidentally, from his reporting it appears that PABA is closing in on you with his tour party. Look behind you!? Cheers.
My name is Roger and I am originally from the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia but now live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. My wife Jeanette and I have traveled to all the continents with the exception of Antarctica but nevertheless still have many other countries and areas that we wish to experience in the future. So far we have visited nearly 76 countries and territories worldwide, some of which we have visited multiple times and counting. We are particularly attracted to Europe and as an example, have visited Belgium six times and Spain four, making it eight times on the continent as of July 2... full info
