This is amazing!
Thank you for sharing this wonderful story with the world. The vivid description and pictures made it feel like I traveled to Jerusalem right in my room. It’s great to learn more about the culture and character of the people. I easily get bored when I read stories about places or history, but I could not stop reading this until I got to the end of it. This is so rich and captivating. I’m itching to visit Jerusalem one day

Israel
Words fail me to express what a great blog and great time you both had in Israel and beyond. How I wish my trip was a quarter of what you saw and experienced. As I usually say, your blogs take me right into the excperience itself as though I was there too. Excellently written and described from all angles. Thanks for sharing

Israel
Good impartial blogging. But as I thought politics changes peoples' perceptions of reality. Remove politicians with vested interests and communities will thrive as God intended

Surprise to see you in Jeruselem
Hi Roger and Jeannette, It was a pleasant surprise to see you at the cistern in at the Pilgrim House Via Dolorosa, Jerusalem! We certainly was a big group from St Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Rancho Cucamonga CA! I read with interest your travels and I hope that Jeanette's ankles will heal quickly! I agree that the Holy Land is an interesting and amazing place to visit, especially for one who is versed in biblical history and antiquities! I hope to keep in touch as we seem to love similar experiences! Petra, Via Dolorosa, Nazareth, Bethlehem, The Wailing Wall, Mt Camel, the Sea of Galilee, Jaffa, Mt of Olives, Mt Tabor, Tel Aviv, the Dead Sea and oh, so many more, are certainly a must visit in every Christian's spiritual journey! Stay blessed and continue to blog!

Hi Roger We enjoy reading about your travels in your blog. We are sorry to hear about Jeanette's accident and hope she is recovering well. We are familiar with the location having been there 2 years ago but we did not climb up to the monastery. Safe travels and God bless.

Hi guys
Thanks. One has to watch the steps closely when descending as they could be dangerous, being uneven and sometimes slippery.

Hi Roger/Jeanette Enjoying your great ‘reporting’ as usual. Sorry that Jeanette got hurt; we all know her to be tough, but be careful. Incidentally, from his reporting it appears that PABA is closing in on you with his tour party. Look behind you!? Cheers.
