Just catching up on your blogs now.... Hey guys. I know I'm MONTHS behind the goss.....but this sounds like a great trip. Always wondered what Portugal was like!
Weird and wonderful animals Good photos and great commentary on all those wonderful animals! I recently found out that there is a rabbit with a long tail in Northern Chile!
A-MA-ZING! Wow! I enjoyed reading that so much. The animals are fascinating. Those Proboscis monkeys are possibly the funniest-looking creatures on earth. And I hope you guys got into the free mini-bar at the 5-star resort. That doesn't happen often! Awesome, guys. Thanks for sharing your honeymoon with everyone.
The Guinness is DEFINITELY better in Ireland!! I saw those mussell farms at Killary and was hanging out to try some and never got the chance, but you've just confirmed my predictions that they would be amazing! Just finished reading an article in the paper this morning about the Cliffs of Moher and Kylemore Abbey.....ahh you gotta love Ireland.
Sounds like me Your trip to Venice sounds something like I would do . . . keeping clear of the worst tourist traps and seeking out the more 'local' establishments. Risotto, especially, seafood is one of my favourites. Una visita fantastico in Italia.
How similar your experiences were to ours Hey guys - we have loved reading about all your adventures on Greece, they bring back so many memories for Murray and I! Would you believe you guys stayed in the same hotel on Mykonos as we did when we were there, amazing and we also stayed in a backpackers hostel just up from Monastriaki station that had a roof top bar, it was called "Hotel Fivos" it was opposite a greek bank... It would be truly amazing if you guys also stayed at the some hostel, please let me know if it was... Visiting Greece in the off season would of been very different to our time there, sounds so much more relaxed and less hectic - the Olympics bought such an influx of tourists that the mojority of Greeks did not approve of - a lot of residents actually left Greece at the time, those who were left (some not all) were just downright rude , but this would of just been the stresses of Olympic fever... So our opinon of greek people has not been that great but all the amazing sites we were fortunate to see and experience made up for the grumpiness of the people, ha ha!!. I'm off to get our photos out to do some reminiscing - thanks so much for sharing your journey, it's been a pleasure to read :) Luv the Findlater's xo PS - Happy B'day to Ariana for today, we hope you had a very special day!!
Great photos... Nice story. The line of bricks really wanders Must have been to keep certain buildings like a good brewery or chocolate shop for the USA?? The photos are good. Hard to take in the poor light.
We've been living in the UK for four years now and have racked up some serious kilometres by rail, road and air and have enjoyed every minute of it! Luckily we don't own a car over here or our carbon footprint would be through the roof!
