We have camped and traveled the country starting, in a tent when our children where young. We graduated to a pickup camper and visited many of the National Parks when the children where on summer vacation. Now that the children are all grown and we are retired, we travel in a Class B motor home and tour new areas on our Harley, that we trailer behind us. We enjoy meeting and riding with other Harley owners, hiking, exploring and visiting our wonderful National Parks.




We joined several Harley riders from Florida to celebrate Memorial Day in Washington. The culmination was participating in the Rolling Thunder Ride to the Wall, to bring awareness of still missing MIA and KIA veterans. The ride was a quarter of a million motorcycles strong, the largest one day motorcycle event in the world. We drove from Maine in our camper and trailed our bike with us. One couple took their bikes from Florida on the train and then rode back to Florida after Rolling Thunder. Six of our Fort Lauderdale HOG members rode to Washington meeting up the the rest of the gang.
