Amazing! Hey you two, thanks for the great journals and photos. I'm laughing so hard that I can hardly read about the profound parts of your travels...easy on the comedy!(just kidding!) Love sharing all this. Take good care of your precious selves, Jude and Rocke
Drat ! So I missed the rays, whale(s) and dolphins,'cos I departed the boat early...serves me right !
I 'did' the equator in mainland Ecuador though (15km north of Quito). For something that doesn't physically exist....
Tortoise and the hair? You both look like you are having a wonderful time - certainly no evidence of any seasickness as would be expected while living on a boat. Nick shaved "because his little sister told him to" - in my experience, Nick never listens to his sisters. Keep the pictures coming! Be safe.
Cheers
Dad
blue-footed boobies The blue-footed boobies are nice but that sea lion is sure cute! :)
It all looks awesome! Have a safe flight to Fiji and have a wonderful 1st anniversary while you're there!
Good to hear from you guys Hey Sarah and Nick good to hear from you guys. Sarah glad to know that you are okay. Sorry it took a while to log onto travel blog. Know that I have reviewed all the journal entries, I want to thank you guys for sharing you travels and experiences with us all. My seven year old daughter Enisha found it fasinating.
Top of train ride Only $11 to ride the roof of a train?!?!?! That's a steal! Any discount for the ride when it's raining? That must have been some ride! Awesome pics of your trip!
Really, if you didn't want to dig anymore... Glad for the update guys, we were getting worried about Sarah. Glad to hear she is doing well and make sure she makes up for lost time!
You're Safe! Ok sorry about that last comment (apparently you can't push the enter key) Anyways, happy to hear you haven't been abducted by Quitoean guerillas, as mom and dad surely suspect since you haven't called home yet. Quito looks beautiful, and the bus situation sounds just like Mexico (the not stopping technique). Hope you guys are having a good time, drink lots of Ecuadorean beer for me!

Party Hey, that looked like a good party. But we had two parties - one on the 2nd and then, to celebrate Sarah's birthday (along with Oma) one on the 3rd. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARAH!

Tough to Beat Well, after Leamington(sp?) how will you beat that?! Why would you want to travel outside of Canada when we have such cultural highlights right here in our own backyard?! Anyway, glad to see this travelblog. It will be great to keep up with you thru this. I'm sure the PU will be happy about it.
Whooohoooo! Great to hear that life's been treating you like royalty since Fiji! Your fieldschool-born love warms my heart. Cheers to your great adventure!
