Flashbacks! Jonathan and I were just celebrating our 1 yr anniversary of starting the Camino last weekend. So great to see this post. As grueling and challenging it was with the weather, I miss lots about our pilgrimage and friendly folks like you and Diane we would run into. It seems so long ago already. I feel kind of aimless this year, thinking I need to start getting my pack ready and get walking! Hope you and Diane are well!
Woo hoo another entry. I've really enjoyed your blog. You write very well and give lots of details about the important things like food and shelter and the general day to day experience. It's been a pleasure sharing the journey of you and your travel companion. Lots of thanks.
Wow This journey is certainly not only physical, but mental also. Is the psychological stress bought on by the physicall stress on the body, i wonder. Still, lot's of beautiful memories!
Hi Jacqui, i have been thinking of you a lot the past 24 hours with the winds, cold and rain and trying to imagine what it must have been like walking all day in those gusts. I really appreciated my bed last night, and right now i'm appreciating the building that i'm in!
I have a book titled 'where-ever you go, there you are'. i bought it many years ago, when i began looking into meditation, can't remember the author right now, but i still have the book.
Lots of love xxx
Carrion... The Wind...The Meseta Jacqui, I am thoroughly enjoying your blogs!!! I can only imagine the forces of Mother Nature that you had to endure. You certainly challenged yourself and can now look back and appreciate what you have conquered!!! Aaaah the memories!!!
Wow Jacquie that sounds like it was a really hard day, what stamina and determination, and how great it must have felt to be so strong and determined to fulfill what you had set out to do.
i look forward to my Friday mornings and reading your blogs. You are going to have to go on another journey, or write a book or something, your writings are soo interesting, i just won't know what to do with my first 30 mins of my day on Fridays when they stop.
Hope you are really well.... lots of love
Amazing Photos They have blown me away, wow, such beauty, i have never seen inside churches like these with soo much detail.
I better get back to work, i had to blow each one up to have a better look, so have spent quite some time looking through them. Hope you are well, take care xx
WOW Wow, those photos are just amazing. We have some beautiful things here in Australia, but i don't know if we have such a rich tapestry as you have seen. We are younger tho!!
Video Video no go...... you know - one of those irritating messages "Video Not found " / or access denied - Its MY video - I didnt deny anyone anything! Hhhhhhhhhh heavy sigh.... will try again something/somewhere some other time - in the meantime if you want moving pics - jiggle your laptop around :-)
What can i say... Your photos are amazing and your blog is really interesting to read, i'm going to miss it. Tiltles/Mistitles! I am not going to title pics any more - will just put details in description BECAUSE when I viewed this after publishing, titles are ALL OVER THE PLACE !! Please excuse... I wasn't... I didn't ..... the 'MULTIPLE PHOTO UPLOADER' did it... bloody thing !
Sounds like your having way too much fun!! I love the way you's have got so used to getting drenched, wind blown, & taking picnic wees, that you can laugh your way through it & make us all appreciate life's little comforts (including the toilet & toilet paper).
Lots of love to you both, hope you are staying dry today!

Take care keep ploding until next blog stay safe & happy you little Pilgrim. Sherie xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Hontanas Hi Jacqui and Di,
Must admit I've been hanging out for your next blog!!!! You are both doing so well and should be commended. The wind and the rain!!! Aahhh one of Mother Natures Blessings!!!
I'm sure that all the beautiful landscapes and historical buildings, cobblestoned roads and friendly locals make up for the down side of your travels.
All too soon your journey will be over and your trip will be a wonderful memory. Soak it up, enjoy, cherish and appreciate what we all take for granted back here.
Keep safe and take care,
Much Love and warm well wishes, Cathy x
