Flew from Singapore to Cairns stopping over in Darwin for a couple of hours. (where it was tipping with rain). After finding myself some accommodation I promptly booked a tour of Cape Tribulation for the following morning which is a large part of rain forrest to the north of Cairns. I was picked up early in the morning by a mini bus, full of people of all nationalities, and after getting to know everyone I was taken on a walk through the rain forrest. We were introduced to all the plants and wildlife that live in the rain forrest.
