Hey, amazing photos...i went exactly to Libreville and Lambarene some one year ago, I'm so in love with everything i saw there and i promised myself im definitely coming back soon...so yeh, thanks for bringing back those sweet memories...

Reading your latest update.....the trip sounds awesome except for maybe the leaky tent? Our daughter is home from India. Joe and I have booked a 27 night trip from Cairo to Khartuom in December.....Keep on truckin'!

Looks like you are having a super time! The trip sounds awesome! Joe is home from India/Nepal and wishing he was still there as the trip is progressing south the country is more beautiful. Our daughter, Stormi, is still there and will not be home to the states until February. Have Fun!!!!!!

Come on Gilbert - I know that Angus had a gigantic rucksack which we humped on and off the truck but are you seriously telling us we lugged a complete dinner jacket outfit all the way to Beijing without him wearing it once when camping in the dessert or going for a massage?

Hi Gil! Joe and I are having a really good time following your blog. Your pictures are AMAZING and you need to do a book when you get back home....if you ever decide to stop traveling for a while!!! Joe is going to Africa with Dragoman, starting Jan 5 in Cairo....our daughter is also starting then and she is going for five months! I have decided I would die in the heat so am staying home and looking at blogs instead!
