Is Val "really" there? Hey Val...how about Don taking a photo of you so we can see that you are really there! Enough of him already! (just kidding) Hug him for me. xxoo
Thank You Valerie,
Thank You for taking us on this incredible journey. Here it has been -20C most of the week. So it is especially delightful to see worlds of green and open water and mountains!
And you delightful travel logo. You are a great travel writer. I still have your letters from Cape Breton, when you went with.. was that Putney School?
Amazing Photos! Val -- Thanks for the blog. What an awesome trip. The photos were breathtaking. I was especially jealous of the close-up of the toucan. Glad your travels have been uneventful to date. Praise God that you've been feeling well enough to enjoy some pretty strenuous activity. Enjoyed the shots of Donaldo, too. We look forward to your next contact. A very cool way to communicate. Love to you both.
Travel Val: Sounds like you are ready to go. Have a wonderful trip and look forward to hearing about your trip. Beats the hell out of what is happening here - am having bathroom redone totally! Can I hide in your suitcase? Have fun.
Hi! I'm off to Argentina with my brother Donald in....eeeek...a week and a half! This will be my third time visiting Argentina, but the last time was thirty years ago (I actually spent the bicentennial 7/4/76 crossing the border from Brasil to Argentina). Also last time there was this little problem going on that is now referred to as "la guerra sucia." Many of the young people I had met 2 years earlier had disappeared and were never heard of again. It will be nice to visit this beautiful country in a more peaceful climate.
So, if you already know me I hope you enjoy this diary of my travel... full info
