Hey guys! - From: Putting our new MBAs to waste: Eastern Europe by bike
Hey you two! I had no idea about this site til I saw a link on another blog titled "Two Idiots on Bikes". I was intrigued, clicked the link, and here you are ANNE AND FOREST! :) Anyway, wasting time at work til I can safely leave. :) I got a job at Microsoft in Charlotte. It's going ok, but it's well...it's just work. :-P Also, in other news, this summer I got married, turned 30.. Lots of milestones. Anyhow, hope you are doing well. I'm going to link to you guys from my own blog. I'm at http://noiliang.wordpress.com Have a great time and I'll check your guys' posts to see what you're up to! Noi

I have felt the magic! - From: LOST BLOG ENTRY
I almost died when I saw the little boy magical bathroom photo!.. I felt it was more of a 35 cent experience however.Let me tell you that Turkey has some of the weirdest bathrooms ever.. there was one rest stop that was decorated with childrens dolls on every wall. i think it was near fetihye.. so be on the lookout.

Kutna Hora Czech Republic - From: Tearin' Up Turkey
Hey Guys, Sounds like y'all are having a blast, keep us updated. If your travels happen to take you past Kutna Hora in the Czech Republic (about 60 km west of Praha) drop by the Ossuary (bone church) and the St. Barbara's Cathedral (particularly at sunset). Both are crazy sights a little off the beaten path. Later on! jim & carla

Jealous - From: Putting our new MBAs to waste: Eastern Europe by bike
Still in Durham...still moving things around 3 different states...and jealous! I am cheering for you both and hoping that you get through Turkey better than I did in 1997 (can't write the story here)! Thanks for being such great friends...I will stay tuned and look forward to a reunion in Durham or CA (and, of course, you are both always welcome in Cincinnati!).

Love the title! Good luck on the trip. Sounds exciting and exhausting at the same time. The few places I've been in Eastern Europe (Prague and Budapest) were amazing. Cabbage and Forest in lederhossen sound scary but worth posting. I head to Asia tomorrow for 3 months of backpacking ending in Australia. Take care and be safe guys. -John

Annie and Forest, Congrats on Graduation. You both did it! Be mindful of men carrying loaves of bread on Austrian buses and always carry with you the ability to speak jibberish on the spot. Say hello to the alps and stay away from the white witch. Love to you both. God bless.

Hi Forest and Anne, Thanks for sharing your awesome bike trip with us. Enjoy your re-entry into society, take it easy for awhile, drink lots of water, etc. Give me a call sometime or just come visit. We're in Waldport, OR until October. Don't worry, it's a small coastal town, so it won't freak you out. -Mike, (541) 563-6944 surf@isamexico.com

Congratulations, Annie & Forrest! I followed your trip with great interest after you left Garden City, Kansas, and was happy to see you made it to the east coast. I still remember the bittersweet feeling at the end of my coast-to-coast bike trip over 20 years ago....Just something you have to experience to know. I'm also glad to hear you managed to keep your cell phone the rest of the way! ;-) Best wishes in the "real world!" --Randy

Thank you guys so much for sending out this BLOG, until now I have never seen any real use for them. It has been so much fun to eagerly await each new installment of pictures and adventurous tails. IT has given me something to do at work...actually the best use of this work PC in a very long time. I am looking forward to when you get back to SF so you can regale us with more stories of adventures. Oh yeah and great photos by the way "prepare to meet God!" Thanks for letting that one get by. PS I thin you should get real tattoos.

I wish I had known.... - From: Kissing Kansas Goodbye
Anne and Forest thanks for the comic relief while at work. Ann, you did not tell me you "roomed" with Dayna at Duke. Funny story ask later. And you know that hunting and fishing store you were at (called BassPro Shop) it is by my parents house in Nixa, Mo, just outside Springfield and Jen and I have been there, it was actually the first place my parents took us after we landed in Springfield after a red-eye flight, go figure. Anyway, continue to have good luck and take a picture of a BMW or Mercedes with license plate from a Southern state. - Eric

I Met Anne's Other Boyfriend (FORE-do not read) - From: Kissing Kansas Goodbye
Anne- I met Ronnie Lott. Isn't he your other boyfriend or is it some other football dude? He's friends with my CEO and they're in some club that met in the office yesterday and I made him coffee, because not only am I a HR Generalist, I'm also an admin (they haven't figured out I'm not detail oriented and a bad hostess). Anyway, a very nice man and quite hunky. Sorry FORE. KJ - KJ
