CONGRATS! Hi Annie (and Forest, now that I feel like I know you so well ;) -- I just wanted to say congratulations! I am going to miss your travelblog -- the entries were phenomenal! I hope that you're both recovering and celebrating, and enjoying your new state. If you're ever in Boston, PLEASE let me know!
love, Alison
Thanks! Thank you guys so much for sending out this BLOG, until now I have never seen any real use for them. It has been so much fun to eagerly await each new installment of pictures and adventurous tails. IT has given me something to do at work...actually the best use of this work PC in a very long time. I am looking forward to when you get back to SF so you can regale us with more stories of adventures. Oh yeah and great photos by the way "prepare to meet God!" Thanks for letting that one get by.
PS I thin you should get real tattoos.
Congrats! What an amazing trip. Thanks for "taking me along." It looks like something that will forever be a great memory in your lives. Good luck in N.C.
Good Luck Just wanted to send well wishes to you two idiots from a future classmate. See you two in Durham...and I expect some great stories. Good luck and have fun!
Wow--glad you guys survived deepest, darkest bourbon country--I hear people occasionally disappear only to emerge 20 yrs later with 19 children and a pick-up truck (gun rack optional). Kidding! Annie--doing the family proud!

I wish I had known.... Anne and Forest thanks for the comic relief while at work. Ann, you did not tell me you "roomed" with Dayna at Duke. Funny story ask later. And you know that hunting and fishing store you were at (called BassPro Shop) it is by my parents house in Nixa, Mo, just outside Springfield and Jen and I have been there, it was actually the first place my parents took us after we landed in Springfield after a red-eye flight, go figure. Anyway, continue to have good luck and take a picture of a BMW or Mercedes with license plate from a Southern state. - Eric
I Met Anne's Other Boyfriend (FORE-do not read) Anne- I met Ronnie Lott. Isn't he your other boyfriend or is it some other football dude? He's friends with my CEO and they're in some club that met in the office yesterday and I made him coffee, because not only am I a HR Generalist, I'm also an admin (they haven't figured out I'm not detail oriented and a bad hostess). Anyway, a very nice man and quite hunky.
Sorry FORE.

Too easy Judging by these pictures, I think you guys aren't pushing yourselves enough. I think you should trade off days towing each other... and the trailer... and maybe the DCD Realty mini-truck... - Charles
Like, oh my Golly You guys are tooo much . . . you're awesome! If you can make it up to Delaware (c'mon, it's not THAT much further), we can put you in our park paper! Alli

Flintstone Village Still looking for giant tumbleweeds and other Forest-sized souvenirs? If you're heading north of Flagstaff towards the Grand Canyon, keep an eye open for Fred Flintstone and co! - Niki
still talking after bakersfield?? thats a good sign! annie do you have man-calves yet??? now you will have someone to defend you at duke when you are known as "that girl with the man-calves" -- congrats forest, that is great news! you guys will have a great time together riding in the smokeys. i will be heading out east next week - ill try and track your man-calves down and throw an egg mcmuffin at you guys while I speed by in my air conditioned uhaul. (there might be space for some wayward biker bums in the trailer - i wont tell anyone!)

Holy crap, Annebelle! Have an awesome time and good luck to both of you. Keep me updated on your adventures, since all of mine now involve diapers, spit-up and baby babbling. -katie
idiots bring sun screen. do you have sun screen? and bug repelant. You will need some bug repelant. Did you bring water? You should have some water in case you get thirsty. Biking can be thristy work.
I hope you took the time to learn the appropriate hand signals for turning. Or do you plan to go straight the entire time?
When you die, can I have your stereos?
I am a huge fan of anonymous posting.
brave! Sound like a brave effort to me. Take it slow at first until your thigh mussles really understand what you've decided to do to them. Be safe. Too bad you're not heading up north too, because you really should add more miliage, don't you thik? BTW. Have you read the book, "UltraMarathon Man?" I think it would inspire you. Especially the stuff about being able to sleep while running and having pizza delivered to him on the road. Good tips. Most of all, have fun. - Geoff
California Cruisin' What an amazing - and a little wacky - idea! Have a wonderful time, make sure Forest practices his Spanish, and be sure to stop and smell the roses - or California poppies/ Texas bluebonnets / Georgia peaches. I'm in South Africa right now, but if I cross your path at any time, how about a pint?
