9 days and counting! It's Sunday and I have to begin thinking about packing/laundry/lists . . . all those little things to prepare for a long trip. I'm excited (I'd be crazy not to be), but also a little wistful. I will miss my daughters very much while I am away, and I always want them near me, so to see so many wondrous things without them there tinges the experience a bit. I know they are happy for me that I have been able to satisfy a life long dream of traveling, but I do miss them when I go.
