I started playing drums when I was about 15 and was lucky enough to travel around with a group of friends playing music for many years. In my travels I started to record where I was heading. Now that I am a bit older I want to share my experiences with others in hopes that they will find the peace and happiness that I have in traveling.

Oceania » Fiji » Mamanuca Islands » Beachcomber June 13th 2013

Today I took a catamaran,(way bigger than I thought) to the Beachcomer island, part of the mamanuca island chain. I had it in my mind that today I was going to get out a scour the whole island not stop, but the humidity proved too much for me as I was still adjusting. I decided to spend the rest of the afternoon out by the pool and catching up on some reading in my hostel until later that night. Around 6 I took a walk back down ... read more

Oceania » Fiji » Nadi June 6th 2013

So here I am in Nadi! Many of my friends back home that have been to Fiji told me to skip Nadi altogether and head to the surrounding islands. I plan to stay and see for myself what Nadi has to offer. As I have just arrived at Bamboo Hostel all i can relate to you so far is the airport and check-in at said hostel. The airport was nice, just visibly old (old carpeting and upholstery on the seats). I wanted to connect to the internet at the airport Wi-Fi to post about my flight but the hassle of their Wi-Fi connection procedure had me frustrated and heading for the nearest taxi. LOL the taxis here are a hilarious occasion, you can pack as many people as will fit into the taxi, but at the ... read more
