Coming home
Good entertainment over the months ... and nostalgia! Finally caught up, so apologies for lack of timely replies. Of course travelling can be wearying to say the least. I can remember when we arrived (1980's speak for 'rocked up', I think) in Hong Kong after 3 months of Asian food and culture and we just couldn't face more Asian food. So we found a UK style supermarket and bought meat and two veg: pork chops, pots and sweetcorn - can still taste it! It gets you strangely! So don't think of it as a failure and on missing out on Sth America, Think of all the superb things you did do, that you otherwise wouldn't have experienced sitting on your butts in UK. One of the phenomenon that you are about to experience upon your return, will be the blank stares of people as you want to go on endlessly with your photos and stories - I mean they are not being unkind but it's a "you have to have been there" sort of thing, to get the full understanding. Looking forward to hearing all about it!When do you get back?

G'day you two! Tom, I read your description of the aussie kebab and simply had to write. What you are describing sounds exactly like one of our Magic Rolls from the shop on the triangle - now you know where to get one of those aussie kebabs when you're back home! Bry - love the necklace, Tom has excellent taste - well we knew that already! Sounds like you guys like the look of Byron - it does look stunning and sooo sunny. Can we have some please :-) Look forward to the next blog update See ya! Sammy x x x x x x

Mumbai
Having visited a few times myself I wonder if the rest of the world will get to be like Mumbai. I usually loose my temper at some point every time I visit. The Spice Market is the best in India...

Happy new year to you both!
Hi guys, sorry to hear you were taking turns to drive the porcelain bus (although probably a slightly better experience than the buses you've encountered so far!) but delighted to hear that you've managed to 'enjoy' Christmas festivities and carol singers! Happy new year from us - looking forward to the next instalment! xxxxxxxx

Merry Chrimbo!
Hi there, hope you guys are feeling better! Me and my boyfriend J were in Varkala about 2 weeks ago for 5 nights as part of our travels. We stayed at the Seaview Hotel by the North Beach which was 500 rupees a night which we thought was a bargain! Never got ill, recommend eating at the Clayfootie (cant remember how its spelt) There was another fab one we found - but cant remember the name - sorry! we did enjoy lots of happy hour cocktails at the Dolphin Bar - very friendly guys! I would say avoid the Auyvedic Massages, however it is an experience and a good story to tell - will leave it at that!! We went to Trivandrum and stayed at the Evergreen Lodge (something like that) - its very near the Stations and its in the Rough Guide - and its dirt cheap 250 rupees!!! and its decent enough! If you get to go to Trivandrum - Tom you should def get a suit made for you in Raymonds - they are excellent - best in India!! Jamie got 2 Tuxedos and a suit made for 40quid each and they are gorgeous quality - made in 2 days and Im sure they could post it to the Uk for you! anyway theres lots more I could say but I think Iv said enough. If you have any q's just give me a shout. ciao xxx
