The ,ahi always allure of Kruger Thank you, Tim, for bringing Kruger alive in your articulate, wonderfully evocative descriptions. We have stayed so many times in so many of the camps, but each new visit is an exciting adventure of discovery, peace, soul satisfying moments and deep contentment. Your trip sounds truly wonderful...you will love the north - very different from the south. And you may even get to see a Pel’s fishing owl! Enjoy, enjoy!
Kruger Hi Megs Our trip so far has been superb. Kruger is truly remarkable. Just arrived at Shingwedzi so we are now exploring new territory for the first time. Best wishes to you and Bruce.
Cry, the beloved country ??. Cry, the world in crisis ??. We look to the youth to sort this out..... Thank you, Tim, for your incisive analysis....as always.
Recent events in KZN and Gauteng Tim, I've always enjoyed your blogs and thanks again for this one. Your comment that it's high time to mobilise and start meaningful change makes me think again about the ticking time bomb on our doorstep - Sea Vista. I was so disheartened to hear during a recent discussion with Ivan Beaumont and Dave Harpur that the SFB SPO/SRA (??) had made several attempts to initiate upgrading initiatives in Sea Vista, only to be blocked repeatedly by the local ANC Councillor, who apparently is as corrupt as they come. I don't want to be naive about the reality on the ground, but surely there must be some way in which the majority of the Sea Vista community can be made to understand how this man is standing in the way of the upliftment of their township - and to use the current crisis as a means to making some badly needed progress in Sea Vista? Without this I fear that it will only be a matter of time until we see a repeat of the KZN looting and destruction right on our doorsteps - literally. Do you know if Wayne Furphy (?) and his team are contemplating any new actions? Evan
Covid-19 Hi Evan I'm not sure but there must be a way getting this message into the community. I will discuss with Hattingh Borman; Chief Whip, in the KM Council. Will provide feedback. Rgds Tim
One Way Cab From Udaipur I really happy found this website eventually. Really informative and inoperative, Thanks for the post and effort! Please keep sharing more such blog.
Oh my goodness! Impressive article dude! Thanks For Sharing It. One Way Cab From Udaipur
We have not won the battle Tim, the U.S. has done far better than most people expected. Finally, we got organized and are moving forward. Sadly, several states have low vaccinations rates and low income areas where transportation has been an issue. Slowly, we move it forward. We only have about 48% fully vaccinated. The problem with J & J vaccine can at a bad time and that slowed things. We hope the vaccines can protect us from variants. Hopefully, the African Nations will get increased numbers soon.
I like what Singapore is doing with Covid... they will be treating it like every other endemic virus once they achieve their vaccination goal in August.
Nice info Nice info. This is a very impressive post, Very useful information, it clarified things a lot for us. Thanks for sharing valuable tips. - Shirdi Flight package from Chennai

Information and misinformation Your ending quote is perfect. The world changed and it continues to evolve. As a nurse, I trust in science. But, no one knows how long these vaccines will last. I believe we are safer with them than without them. Historically, vaccines have done enormous good.... there will always be a percentage who are negatively impacted. Certainly, flip flops are likely to happen but I think overall we have some good people, some smart people, communicating the best they can to advise us so we can make decisions. I will you well in Africa. Sadly, corruption will never go away... no matter where we live. Greed is an evil mistress. Stay safe.
Thank you, Tim, for another insightful, well researched and fascinating analysis of the current global and South African situation. Almost a year and a half later and the world continues to be in the grip of this vicious virus...with some interesting spin-offs, such as the move from office to home etc. Bruce and I had our first Pfizer vaccination at Stanger General Hospital earlier this week, whilst David, Minky and Melody are having theirs today. The second dose I’d due in 42 days. We registered and were accepted in March, but in fact the over-60’s do not need to be registered. Anyone over 60 is vaccinated. The process was quick, extremely well organised and efficient, whilst the staff were informative, helpful and supportive. I received an SMS from DoH within 2 minutes of being vaccinated, informing me of my vaccine batch number etc. There is light at the end of the tunnel.... Hoping to see you and Sue later in the year. Lots of love, special friends xx??
Blog... Thanks Tim, enjoyed your commentary as always. I just shake my head when I see what is going on in SA under the government there. Corruption and incompetence seem to be key areas of expertise.
Covid-19 Mike I don't think people around the World know about the extent of theft & corruption going on in SA. Sadly, many citizens of this country don't care, don't know or have their heads buried so far up their backsides that they can't see.
I see that we feel the same about the Covid virus and politicians. I'm pleased to be able to comment on your post if only to let you know that TBers are following you!
