Very glad to read this blog! You sound good sweetheart, and yes this is life. But you are there in S.Africa for a reason, God will give you the reason, you just listen for it - it will come. Faith, it is what you have to live by-if not for faith-you wouldn't be here!! lol Seriously, things work out for the best, I know you get so tired of me saying that-but it is true! I believe with all of my heart that you are there for some reason or you would not have this burning desire to be in S.Africa, just trust darling, that's an order!!
I love the pictures!! It truly is beautiful, can't wait to see it! Guess it will have to be in July with the fam. But that's okay, I can wait as long as I know you are doing what you want. You look so handsome, guess I forget how cute you are...and you are not fat! I love you and miss you so much. I am praying for you constantly-so know this..IT WILL WORK OUT!! haha, there I said it again!! Mom
Housing problems Hi Josuha,
Have been enjoying reading your blog. Sorry that getting going in PMBurg is presenting such a challenge! But we all know that most things in SA present challenges. Good luck!
hello hey i didnt realize i could write to you as i usually read these on my phone.
sucks that everything has changed,i hope it all works out for you(i am sure it will).
we are thinkin about you and hope your loving it there take care and i will write to you again soon.
G's up...
Hi, Josh. What a disappointment that your house and your equipment and transportation weren't as promised, but I like your bright attitude: do the best with what you've got. (Did you cry?) Maybe you should present yourself to the people who hired you and tell them you can't do the job without the equipment. They need to follow through on their commitment to you.
I hope you've got pictures of those Frankenstein dogs. Do we need to send you instructions on alpha behavior?
Wow its really beautiful! im so glad you keep these blogs up. Me and my mom enjoy reading them and feeling jealous of your adventures..speaking of adventures, the restuarant is being sold! haha freedom! but thats a whole other story..
Port St Johns reminds me of my trip to hawaii- bountiful forests that were so thick with rare vegetation that you coulnt see where you were going! but im sure you are having a better time. We never actually "hiked" ..guess it doesnt count if there's a concrete pavement and bridges eh? haha. Beside, seeing my mom and dad swinging on vines would just be too much...
Im so so very happy that your enjoying your time there! just dont forget us people stuck in FortWorth TX! Keep up the blogs =] we all miss you!!
-Joanna
ps. yea you spelled sauna right ;]
Joshie Wow! I love the blogs. I feel like I am going along with you, sort of. Again, I am so proud of you for following your heart. Saw your mum yesterday and am trying to convince her to get the passport, get the shots and book that February flight. She just needs to do it! Be safe. Watch out for the wild animals. Love you, d.
Sounds like you had a good time on your last day:) Im sure you enjoyed the indian food! Will you stay in touch with Nathan? I know you are glad to see Sam:) Im excited to hear about what you two start doing on your shower!! I still cannot believe your new video camera stopped working, maybe someone can look at it? I hope so. We have had none-stop rain here also, but the sun is shining and the weather is beautiful and crisp!! Hey! I put a S.African flag on my farm in farmville!!! lol miss you, love you bigger than the universe!! remember that? Mom

the weather has been rainy and cooler (below 80 during the day) since you left. how could you steal off with the sunshine like that?!?

nice pics good to see that your adventure is starting off well (minus the 4hr delay in germany). the pics from the backpackers in joburg look great. i'm sure the more i read about SA, the more i'll want to visit. hopefully, within a year (keep the fingers crossed). be safe, have fun and keep up with the updates. peace and love, homie - GG
