Shane (a fellow mathematician at MSU) and I took a nice hike up thru the Spanish Peaks by Ted Turners Flying D Ranch. It's a beautiful drive and it's right out of town off from Montana's most dangerous and deadly road, US Highway 191. Well two weeks ago I took a trip, a financially irresponsible, but personally rewarding trip across country to see some friends and attend a wedding. I took a four day jaunt down to Grand Teton National Park and took a nice three day tour of some of the glacial lakes at the base of the Teton range and Two Oceans lake in the Northeastern part of the Park.
