Wow...I LOVE reading your entries Kris...this one was amazing. You are not only a fabulous writer, but what you write is always meaningful and that was crazy. The photos were so impressive and beautiful. I can't get over the beauty! Thanks!
not to worry I thought it to be a really entertaining story, especially since I had my all time drunk nights of my life in Krakow the summer of -89 (during a 3month solo motorbike trip through east europe, which at that time was behind the iron curtain, but what craic!!!
And Eva of Krakow, wow!
young and foolish... Oh my, the Discoteque in Biarritz... how quickly I've forgotten. Part of my selective memory. Glad I learned many lessons during my "first baby steps of international travel"... tee hee. Nice write up Kris; you summed it up well. I hope I get the chance to do the version 2.0 of that trip sometime soon.
What is with that Cowboy hat??? Do I really ever want to go to Regina if people dress like that!! Now I can see your true colours Kris!!!

I hate chairlifts and so your tale made me laugh outloud. I am not a snowboarding enthusiast, but I would like to go to Andorra some day. See you guys soon!

Aie Carumba WOW!!! What a rocktastic adventure in the streets!
It looked amazing. I can't believe they put so much work into the fallas just to torch them. But dancing around huge fires must be an exhilarating feeling. Keep up the good work friends!
Thanks for sharing:)

are parents and other middle aged folks less self-conscious about their tourist status than I (and perhaps others like me) are?
at any rate, I'm glad that everybody seemed to have a merry christmas and a fun holiday.
cheers, my friends.
this reminds me of me and Dennie's trip to Denmark; the last day was spent looking for an underwater statue of Posidon and his mer-daughters, located somewhere in the bottom of a canal in downtown Copenhagen. We found it and it was, well, underwhelming, albeit underwater.
Then off to see THE little mermaid, an hour's walk out of the city, cite of hundreds, if not thousands of asian couple's honeymoon photos.
It's really small.
Glad you enjoyed Brussels! I was there last year remember really enjoying the Belgium museum. Did you know that they elected their kind back in the day? Crazy. I also got molested walking down some street where there were a ton of restuarants, with amazing food displays. The men were all over you trying to get you to come into their restuarant. Really interesting experience, and the Manikin Piss was definitely interesting. Love the blog and relating to your stories!!
