Happy to hear you're safe Count me in among those who are glad to hear you're OK and out of Cuba. I can't wait to hear the rest of the stories. You've been missed!
Only you, my child.... I'm speechless. So glad you spent your first night with the police.....I know that they would be the first to keep my baby safe...illegally, in a communist country. God speed. Be safe and I await hearing from you soon. I love you. XOXOXOXO
Wow! What an Experience! I'm so glad you made it out of Cuba intact! What an escapade! I'm just glad all of you made it out okay. I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures and reading more about this adventure! Did you happen to get a picture of the castle-police station? Somehow I doubt it, but I had to ask! I love castles, especially the haunted ones in England and Ireland. Hopefully you will find time to relax a bit now, before your next journey. I look forward to traveling with you, through your words! You should become a journalist! You would be an awesome! Stay safe on your next adventure, Robbie.
Love, your aunt Angela
Priorities Ok, I didn't read the whole thing. I only read the part about placing certain things in order upon your arrival in a new city. Dude, I'm here to tell you...............PICK: "Use bathroom" first!!!!
I think all the rest can wait. Just my 2cents, or pesos, or whatever currency you are dealing with at the time.
Having wonderful time in Good Ole' US of A Just saw fireworks that were postponed for rain on July 4th. GOD BLESS THE USA.......BABY!!
(Hope no commy bastards are looking over your shoulder as you read this!!) (Semper FI) (Ok, I don't REALLY know what that means., but I know it IMPLIES that we can kick some ass if we need to.)
Good luck to you in your travailles! (That's french for work, but I thought it worked in this case.) Don't forget to visit "le facteur", that's french for "the mailman". (Has much better effect when being vocalized as opposed to being read, but you notice I left it in anyway.)
Viva La Robert!!
Yea, ok they let me have a few beers tonight........and there's always tomorrow.
You are SO lucky You are So lucky that you made it out of Cuba okay! I was collecting the phone numbers of the nearest voodoo doctors. ;-) There have been a couple of programs on Discovery Times about Cuba and I would love to visit there some day, just not while Fidel is in charge. My counselor Alida fled Cuba in 1959 with her family when she was just 4-years-old, and lived in one of the Art Deco hotels on Ocean Drive in Miami Beach back when it was a slum. She gave me some insights into Cuba and its citizens. Glad you made it out okay. You still have to make in home safely though. Take good care.
Big hugs,
Aunt Greg
Glad Your Safe Hey kid! I hope you had lots of fun, but you had lots of people worried! Glad to know you're safe. I'm looking forward to reading your next adventure story!
So I can take down your missing persons poster? ...I'm so incredibly happy that you are safe. And, for future reference, please don't ever do that again- to me or anyone else for that matter. I was worried...Are you having fun? I hope so. Miss you. Love from me, Diana
Safe and Sound Glad to hear you are safe and sound. We were starting to worry!!
BTW - you went 8 DAYS WITHOUT any contact!!! You must have lost track of time somewhere along the way. I am anxious to hear about your exeperiences. Take care and enjoy the beach. Love Dad!!!
Thinking of u ;( Hi Rob! Glad u having fun. Wish was some other place myself. Get some sleep at night. Try experiencing places during day light and be safe. Looking forward more news from u.
sounds like you're having a blast, you'll enjoy cuba, havana is very beautiful in some parts but sketchy in others. I just got back from panama and found one hell of a surf camp that you have to cross a river to find. Look forward to the next installment.
Dancing? basketball? I can't speak for the dancing.....but, seeing as though you were recently toasted in a couple games of 1 on 1 basketball by your 44 yr old, overweight, completely-out-of-shape uncle..........I'd say your competition was a might weak. Have fun.
Vote Republican! :) Okay, so my title is silly but I had to do it. Tonight is a big Republican Executive Committee event, and I love that you are in Cuba while I am here trying to find a way to satisfy 28 candidates.... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE PHONE CALL! It was great to hear your voice; I am just sorry I slept through the call. I am glad you made it safely. Please take a lot of pictures!!!! If I was as daring as you, I would go myself. So please take some good photos for me. Tell Fidel that Charlie, Tom and Jeb will not be sending him their regards. I will however, share your amusing plane bought from a garage sale in Slovakia anicdote with Charlie tonight! Delta love and mine, M
Have fun seeing the world, but stay safe! Hey pipsqeak! Yeah, it's your Aunt! Have fun exploring the world! Don't drink the water! Stay safe, hon. Love, Angela
No Title Today Just a quick note. I am really glad you are having such a great time. I wish I was with you to share in the adventure (you might have lost the basketball game with me on your team).
Please continue to travel safely and remember everything, I want details (well, within limits!!!!). Love Dad
Dancing at a Club? That does not sound like the Robby Woods that I know!!! I guess I never got the opportunity to see your smooth dance moves. Anyway glad to hear that you are having an amazing time.
Hey Rob, sounds like you're enjoying yourself. I keep thinking about our trip to DC and New York. Remember my cousin's dreadful wedding? Anyway, take care of yourself.
Welcome to the world of a traveler. One filled with third person travelogues authored under the adopted pseudonym "The Guy" for the vicarious vagabonding reader.
It is my time for something new. For most, my graduating from college means that I'm supposed to fill some current void in this world and work a 9 to fiver.
Somehow that's just not going to work out for me the way society has planned.
I'm always up for a good time or something new.
I feel that once you stop learning you stop living, so I'll keep learning by traveling.
This summer you can follow "The Guy" as he wander... full info
