"the dingo ate your baby" hi guys! sorry i've been MIA lately...i just got back from a camping trip in the sierra nevada mountains with mat. it was super fun! we spent most of the time at a campground right next to a creek, but we took a 2-day backpacking trip to a glacier lake which we practically had all to ourselves. i'll send pictures to you and tell you more details once you're back in the states! i hope you are having fun with the kiwis (and eating kiwis, too. yum.)! caroline, i'm so jealous that you got to hold a koala!!! was he as cuddly as he looks?? ted, i'm not surprised you and a kanga are buddies! oh yeah, i got your post card from italy last week...thank you sooo much. i like real snail mail! and, unfortunately, i don't think i can make it to LA to hang with you during your layover...this whole career thing really gets in the way sometimes!! can't wait to get a phone call from you as soon as you're able. have a fun final week and get home safely! love you and miss you!!
G'day mes enfants We have to get you in Detroit? I thought Delta had a direct flight to Toledo from Atlanta? Anyhow, the brass band is getting warmed up and the pierogies are on the barbie. The international flags I ordered are on the way and the wines of the world giftset on ebay was a real bargain. The fatted calf has been slain and your Mom's tapping troop are ready for a good ol' down home homecoming tap-a-ganza. Embarassed yet, you just wait and see.
Awesome We are so impressed with your itinerary and the great things you've seen. The pictures are wonderful; and you too look great and happy. Couldn't surf? No way! Love you both. Mom

IT-aly Caroline and Ted: It looks awesome! Waterpolo! That is funny that they play in such a small little fishing town in Italy. Anyway, good luck on those trails between the 5 towns.
Awesome!! This trip looks so amazing you guys! You know I am uber-jealous seeing all the pics, but I am definitely enjoying traveling around the world vicariously through you two. :) Have a wonderful next leg, and keep the updates coming! Love, J
Hey guys! Your blog is so cool! It sounds like you are having a fabulous trip, keep me posted on everything. Your pics look like postcards.
CD, thanks for the wedding wishes--we had a beautiful ceremony and a great honeymoon. I can't wait to show you the pics--we missed you both!
Maintenant? Tehhhhd (and Caroline) Wow! Several more days of that lousy scenery and pack animal hikes. You two might as well be sherpas. Ever heard of SUITCASES!!! The Tour has just gotten crazier. Rasmussen just blew the pelaton away and got yellow at the mountain top finish. Rest day today. Se Ri Pak won the Jamie Farr again (for the 5th time) she owns Highland Meadows. Her playing partner on the final round shot a hole in one and still couldn't beat her. Went on a 40 mile jaunt with two oldy, roadies the other day. We flew around the Wabash triangle. These guys could book. Signing my book contract today, I hope. The trip looks spectacular so far, don't know how you'll keep dishing up the spectacular-ness but keep it coming. Stay safe and enjoy the heck out of the trip. Love, Daaaad
Vive la Suisse!! NO WAY!!! Those pictures are so cool! What a wonderful trip. You certainly planned well. Can you believe you are actually in those beautiful places? Keep them coming. We are so excited to keep up with your excellent adventure. Have fun, stay safe, take lots of pictures. Love, Mom

Paris, je t'aime Hi You Guys,
We are really excited to hear of your great adventures. Did you get to see the Hamlet (le Hameau) at Versailles? What about point zero? Have you stepped in any merde de chien? How's the bread? Sorry the weather isn't as beautiful as it should be. I'm sure it will be better in Annency. Dad noticed the the weather for the tour has been rather coldish. arm warmers and rain jackets. Let us know where you plan to be during the tour so we can look for you. No new mail or interesting info yet. Keep having fun. Mom and Dad
