Congrats
Hi Chris, I have only gotten a chance to read through your blog about a week and a half after we finished our trek, it’s certainly brining back a lot of memories! Well done once again on reaching the top of Kala Patar and “sucking it up” and making it to Base Camp, it has been a great read and I can’t wait for our reunion trip to Machu Picchu….. Aaron & Billy

Proud
As I seem to have spent the past 3 weeks and 2 days annoyed with you for leaving us; I thought it best to declare publicly that we are all very proud of your achievements at home here and really looking forward to having you home. Still not sure how on earth you will settle back into the normal grind of life after seeing such wonders and sights, but luckily we have 2 mini people here who are excited about Xmas that will help you with that! lol. Lots of love from Team Arnold at moon base Alpha. xxxxx

Welll done, you'll look back upon this in years to come in amazement at what you achieved. thankfully gradually forgetting the suffering it took. Well done! john

tough days...
...always turn out to be the ones you remember the most, just for getting through them. 'sucking it up' is easier said than done - good job mate. Looking forward to hearing it all in 2 weeks. Enjoy.

This must truely be a magnificent experience and is obviously a real test physically for any member of the ten pints and tindaloo society. just make sure you have several showers befroe you meet up with us lot when you get back, particualrly if you get frisky with any Yaks! John

Mt Everest and Me
Most certainly YOU! For some reason you look much larger than Mt Everest! Putting aside the little problems of not much sleep, dehydration, headaches, coughing on dust, kerosene inhalation, dizzying heights across chasms, children throwing missiles, and unpredictable yaks, I guess you are really enjoying your adventure. Keep trekking.

Landing at Lukla
Enjoying your travel stories very much. The landing you described at Lukla takes me back to a landing I made in a Lincoln Bomber in the 50s as an Air Cadet. I was in the front turret - all glass - scary what! Can't wait for the next episode. Good Luck.
