We got up early this morning and caught the bus into town with our new American friends Dustin and Emily and met up with our group at Zoo station. The tour guide was actually an American as well, but had German parents and grew up speaking German. He is currently studying history at the Berlin Uni and has been living in the city for the past 6 years, so we were able to forgive his American accent. The walking tour was fantastic. It went for about 4 hours all around the city and he gave us some great insights on the [View Full Entry]

Berlin Europe
After a restless night in the airport, we caught our very early flight to Berlin. Turns out that the hostel we booked was a bit further out of the city than originally thought and it took a bit of time getting there. Any-who, we also had a squizz at the Venus de Milo - of which James was not [View Full Entry]

This morning we headed straight out to Luton to catch the plane out to Paris. We said a grateful good bye to Dana and the very warm weather in the Uk and took the train out. We had some time to kill before the plane, so we decided to get rid of the rest of our pounds and had lunch. We still had just over a pound left after that so I went in search of nibbles. I found I was one pence short of what we wanted, so in true tight-arse style, I scoured the floors to find my extra [View Full Entry]
