Walking the old stone wall around the cape, the Cave Bar and swimming Superb photography. Looks amazing. Cave bars look interesting. Doing a lot of walking. ?
Walking the old stone wall around the cape, the Cave Bar and swimming Feeling jealous with the warm weather, beautiful beaches and swimming. Spring is here but still cold mornings and waiting for the warmer days. The heating bill very high. The birds over the beaches lovely. Happy you have had days for meditation, more relaxing as not travelling and walking the streets. Sounds blissful. Cheers. Anne
Exploring the Dobrovnik Old Town Picture orf the double door I love. Old Town - the steps and heights of the building are spectacular. Would be such a challenge walking through these streets. Oz time Saturday 21st. I joined Terry, my two daughters Jess and Bec and grand-dtr Ashley at the Pies/GWS preliminary. Needless to say, apart from the Pies despertate challenge in the last qtr - lost by 4 points. GWS were better on the day. So the 10yr old GWS will be playing in the grand final against the Tigers. MCG mostly black and white. Very nail-bighting last few minutes. A subdued shattered Pies crowd left the ground. The train trip home was also subdued and flat. Little Ashley could see the score board and she was getting excited as the crowd cheered the Pies to get the last goal. She wass so sad and cried. Terry said she will get us3ed to that being a Pies folower. I let him know that it was the Hawks beating the Eagles in Perth that got the Pies to finish 4th. Our son Chris is arriving Thursday night and had a ticket to the Grand Final. His mates watched the game at the pub in Northbridge. Very flat. We are still looking forward to seeing him stay with us for a few days. My grandson Jake and his dad Wes follow the Tigers. We will have the family over at our place for the Grandfinal. So it will be all go for Melbourne grand final week. Brownlow medal tonight. The public holiday Friday. Cheers Anne
Travel to Dobrovnik, Uncertainty and Pure Delight Unfortunate the company receivership doing a runner. You have the ability to overcome any adversity. Your smiling face and pictures of the riverview, Sunset is pure beauty. The sunset picture with the glass of wine took my breath away. Photographer skills at their best. Croatia looks lovely. All the best as you continue and hoping no more runners. Hope the thongs helped with the stoney beach. Cheers. Anne
Thank you Budapest Like your last supper. Impressive train station. Keep well as you continue your journey. Your feet have travelled far and wide. The observations of the homeless, beggars in all the cities you have visited. Can't imagine the conditions for these people in the winter, cold months. Regards Anne
Cruisaing, picnic and more Budapest exploring Love your photos. Art, sculpture, Church of Blessed Virgin Mary. Thinking of MMP. A year ago since being at Nottingham. I attended the Sydney, Ryde Retreat and their recommitment on 14th September. It was lovely catching up with the Sisters and group. I have been quite busy with family and LCM work. Cheers Anne
Travel day - Vienna to Budapest Surviving the train travel. Oh what a hastle - you are navigating great. Pictures conjuring in my mind of the running to find your carriage. The Mind the Gap step looks a real challenge. A relief that your speedster driver got you safely to your accommodation. Honestly Suzanne, I wouldn't be able to travel alone. I would have been left, got lost, etc. You know my limitations with navigation (even Melbourne CBD). haha. Cheers. Anne
Prague to Vienna Welcome to beautiful Vienna. Did you see any more of the Von Trapp family!!!!!! You must be frustrated with the technical problem. Nonetheless you will have them as a memory on your return to OZ. Cheers.
Vienna or Budapest They are very different cities. But for I think Budapest comes out the winner. The diversity it offers in terms of exploring the history, architecture and culture is wonderful. It is a very picturesque city.
A historical journey Suzanne. I didn't know that Hitler's wife had murdered their children. It must have been deeply emotive visiting these places. Lest we never forget the horrific tragedy of the Holocaust and the devestation of war. Love your sunglasses. xx
Enjoying your travel tales Hi Suzanne. I am loving your travel tales. Thanks for sharing. In Berlin ( one of my favourite cities) be sure to visit the memorial to the Jews. Very moving. Also we did a bike tour which was quite safe and very informative. Enjoy. Anne x
