Hey All, I have decided not to be lazy and write a blog. Because i have been lazy i am doing a big chunk of places all together. So pretty much after vienna we caught the busabout bus to munich. Busabout has been so good by the way, the bus days are not that bad, we use it as our rest day and catch up on sleep day. We did alot while we were in Munich, includig walking tour, bike tour which we rode out into these massive gardens to a huge beer garden, stopped there for 45mins and had 1 liter beers and sausages then rode back. Again i have been very lazy so this a like a diary entry boy has been doing on his facebook so that he remembers everything so i have cut and paste again. I promise next time i will not be lazy. This is a day by day diary entry so a little boring but its informative, if anything make sure you read the ** part at the bottem. Hilarious!!! Monday headed off for prague . We said our final goodbye to Otley on the last weekend in july. Had a send off at the cricket club witha nice speech and a present for brendy. I worked both days on the weekend so work on sunday was a real struggle after a big night with the crew and the kettle. Nice send off from work with some cupcakes and card and home to pack and clean the house for our flight on monday the 2nd. I am getting very lazy with these blogs and often short of time so this is a group email that brendan has sent out and i have gone to the big effort of doing teh old cut and paste with it. scotland.... just a wee update from our week in scotland. caught the train down sunday night (from leeds to edinburgh) staying at caledonian backpackers in a 20 person dorm which had its moments, 1st night had a good snorer and last night was 'turn the light on and wake everyone up' night which was quite popular. monday did the 3 hour walking tour which was pretty good, really nice city, very different with the big castle like the apple that the babies arm (aka the royal mile) is holding. few good stories about the ... read more

Howdy, London... Spent last week in London, good times, stayed at a couple of the kiwi's that we met on the Egypt tour. Got down in London on Sunday night Monday went to Wimbledon - started queuing up at 6.30, finally got in at 10.30 and play didn't start til 12, the line is well organised (you get a ticket with a number on it so no one tries to push in or anything) so it goes quickly, went for a couple of walks and sorted out lunch and bought some sunnies, was only when we got close to the door we read that you're allowed to take in a bottle of wine or 1 litre worth of beers so a bit disappointed we didn't get that done. Hola, Well what a time we had at Pamplona. Beat all our expectations. We left little Otley very early on sunday morning (6.30am) and jumped onto a bus to london, after 4 and a half hours on that we caught a train to the pub where we were meeting out tour group and managed to fit in 2 beers before we jumped on another bus (2.30pm) for a 23.5 hour bus ride and ferry journey to Spain. Very very long, especially for us with the travel we had already done before hand. We were allowed to drink on the bus. Our plan of getting drunk first and falling asleep so no one annoyed us didn;t really work and we were pretty much kept up all night by a few lads that were extra excited. Didn't matter ... read more

Hey Everyone, Long time in between blogs, i have been very lazy and we have also had alot of issues with the camera and memory cards which has been making it very hard to post photos. Hopefully today it works. Taking photo's is the rain is apparently not very good for the camera. Anyway, went to Ireland a fews weeks ago. Was a great 10 days for me and 5 for boy. After a massive weekend with the kiwi's and aussie we met on the egypt tour who came down to watch boy play cricket and to get a taste of the otley night life, we jumped on the plane late sunday night. Hey Everyone, Cheap flights found on skyscanner had us going to portugal and back in 4 days. Found out the day before we left that big nic was also in Portugal at the same time. No surprise he was having the time of his life, having seen only the inisde of his hostel and the bars and clubs of Lagos at night we knew we were up to a big few days. Flew into Faro airport late on monday night, 11.30 pm, thuoght we had organised a car but they didn't get back to us so had to rush around at the airport before all the car places closed at midnight to find a car. Sixt was the only place that had a car for us. Fill in all the paperwork and signed our life away ... read more

Hey All, Thought i better do a blog on our home for the next 3 months, well 2 months now because we have nearly been here for 4 weeks. Our welcoming was really great, everyone here is so lovely. "Hi ya, you alright" is the usual greating which brendan and i have nearly mastered. Everything is "well funny" and "a right mess" but we are slowly working our the lingo. We are set up in our own little house which has been so good, can clean out our packs and not live out of a bag which has been heaven. Since being here we have visited a far few of the surrounding towns including Skipton which was a nice little market town (actually famous for them) we just missed them because we were a little late ... read more
