Spruits on tour

Hi we have now had 5 days in Arlington nr Dallas. Have rented a 3 bedroom house which has been great to spend some time chilling out in. Its been a bit cold here but sunny every day, getting us ready for jan at heathrow... Have has a good time, we are a mile from the new Dallas Cowboys stadium so did a tour of that. It is quite an amazing place. can take over 100,000. Hoping Johan wont need to go and look around the emerates now!!! Had Martin Hawkins over for supper on Thurs eve. he comes to Fort Worth regularly for work. Quiet wierd to see him here and i am sure we bored him stupid with our stories of New Zealand... Our last day in New Zealand, We got to Christchurch on Sunday night. Eddie flew to Wellington on Monday to try to set up a New Zealand distributor for Quadraspire. I took him to the airport had a run and then had a lovely quiet day with Patsy and the children doing school work and going to the park. Today her and Ross had to leave for Invercargill as Simons mum, Tui died on Sunday. The funeral is really quick , Wed am so we are in thier house getting ready to fly to the States tomorrow. Hi everyone - The days go by so fast its difficult to keep up with this blog.. The weather was still hot in invercargill for our last few days. On Monday the second Juliet and i left the farm at 5.30am with two of her friends Kylie and Jannene for Cromwell to do a triathlon. Bit of a drive (3hrs) but empty roads and stunning scenery. Juilet was a star and had sorted me out with a racing bike and wetsuit allbeit a surfing one... Only thing was the bike had cleats and clip on shoes which i hadnt worn before and am a bit scared of. we tried to swap it to pedals but they wouldnt come off so i had no choice. Hi We are now in Kapuka, just east of Invercargill staying with my cousin David (Hooter) his wife Jan and 2 boys Connor and Brayden. we really expected the weather to be quite cold as they dont normally get much of a summer so imagine our suprise when we have had day after day of beautiful sunshine when most of the rest of New Zealand has had torrential rain and floods.. The children have loved it on the farms with thier cousins and when we sugggest trips out they take a bit of persuading.. however yesterday we went to Bluff the most southerly point of NZ and to the beach at Riverton for a jump in the waves. Hi all - Sorry have been bad at keeping this up. been staying at a place with no internet for a while. Left Christchurch for Tekapo last week where we stayed one night. They have an amazing observatory on the top of a mountain Mount John. Freya Johan and i were booked to go on an observatory tour at 11.30 that night but sadly it was cancelled due to rain on the mountain... Children very disapointed so may try again on our way back up. Have been staying in Alexandra for a few days in Otago a famous fruit growing area. My cousin Juilet and her children and met us with Jan (my cousin Davids wife) with her children. Hi just realised i have messed this up a bit. Jusit sorting out the christmas photos to put on and realised that this blog from Australia had never been published..... oops sorry..... just for info i actually ended up doing three, 5am milkings and quite enjoyed it... Christmas one to follow, on the beach on boxing day, unheard of in Invercargill.... Weather laid on just for the Spruits Hi have now sorted out some more photos to put on. Children have done two days at the local primary school and loved it. Off to a place callled Venus Bay tomorrow for a couple of nights with Rach Hayden and the girls.
