On a rainy and windy day in The Hague it is a real pleasure to look through your lovely and sunny pictures. I especially liked the ones of the kids with the pinguins. Great you are having such an interesting time and that the kids enjoy going to an Australian school. Must be weird to celebrate Christmas on the beach or in a swimming pool! on the farm
Dear family, Found the farm-message. 4 minutes to catch a train, hell of a nerve. Take a restnow on the farm and after school the children can jump in the pool. Do they learn something there? The whole journey is a learning-traject, I suppose. Is the business going well? Do Ian and Maarten hold the fort well? I will open my atlas now and see where you are. Kisses Carine.

Hi the Spruit's,Glad to hear you made it to Sydney Life Church. Tom's a great teacher of the Word - I think I forget to mention he's Scottish - the accent gives it away! Community group was great on Friday at Martin and Lisa's - you missed out on pizza! ;)

reminds me of the cabin/lodges we stayed in in New Zealand. Basic but adequate and you even can do your own cooking to save money. Good kids learn the difference between luxury and "normal" for later when they will be backpacking on their own. Love Daan

Last day in Tokyo
Wonderful photos! - so good to see you at last. You certainly packed alot into your time in Tokyo! Hope your fligth to Sydney went well - look forward to hering about THE apartment in Manley?? We're just back from Cambridge, seeing Peter and Francette - P has bought a brand new Audi car! very smart. lots of love from us all & safe travelling. Mum

great to hear that you made it all ok - i have had everybody ask me - my parents were particularly worried about the fog, delays and the children getting fed up waiting! i hear the car was a bit bigger than anticipated but Eddie did a marvolous job of getting it into the garage - you must ring them when you get back and let them pick you up from the airport - that is an order from my Dad! well everythings same as usual here no major adventures to report on but looking forward to hearing yours over the coming weeks, lots of hugs, Renee xxx

Thanks your Dad was great letting us leave the car. Reuben fell asleep of supper tonight not quite used to the time difference yet and they all woke up at 4am today wide awake but thankfuly managed to persuade them to go back to sleep... Tokyo tower today with lovely Japanese family and had a really fun time trying to speak and write in Japanese...

Happy Christmas to everyone!
You did do well on the bike ride,especially Braden! so glad you enjoyed Alex (I went there with Helen & Graeme) I'm sure we'll skype for Reuben's B'day and probably Ch day too! Snow didn't last!! Busy with shopping and cooking etc... lots of love Mum
