Pine Island Glad you are having such a great time. We loved the photos! We have been to Fort Meyers dozens of times and never been to Pine Island. A must for our next visit. We are in the Canadian Rockies skiing and have had 26 cm. of new snow today! Such a contrast, hey?
I'm Jealous I'm insanly jealous that you and Wes are in a warm beautiful place, and we're cold. You guys look like you're having fun. Can't wait to here about Paris. Love, Lauren!
Baby ,it's cold outside! Reading your blog and looking at the "warm" photos has warmed our chilly day. Just got power back last night ,which was lost for over 24 hours!
Kept warm with our gas fire place! And some healthy drinks! food from our new gas range!
Great to hear from you ,keep the blogs coming!!!
Great Photos By the looks of things you guys are off to a great winter. I really like the photo of the Palm House Gate but JoAnn with the grouper is priceless. Enjoy!
It's a Wonderful Life! You two epitomize that title as you relish and appreciate your wonderful travels. I enjoy your pics and superb narrative. Stay safe and warm - Jayne
Why leave Silver Lakes Looked Great there at St. Augustine. I'd be tempted to settle right there for the winter. Here at home it's snow flurries, low 30's and high wind warning for this afternoon. Enjoy the sunshine, I'll try not to think aout you!

re: ants Fort DeSoto Wow - we have run into some nasty little ants too - one is called a fire ant - What a bite! Now we never put a beach towel, etc. on the ground on pool patios, etc. There is a product called Terro Ant Killer that has worked for us.
Invasion We loved Ft. DeSoto State Park also, although our motorhome was invaded by Argentine ants. You do have to be extremely careful that you don't park under tree limbs. While we had so many ants invade our RV, the tenters next to us had no trouble at all. Just watch where you park.
I live in Burgaw, NC. It definitely is something different than the "modern" cities and very historical. I absolutely LOVE the Blueberry Festival. It's a time when the town can come together to visit and have fun together. You should come back sometime...the Blueberry festival is coming up : )
Graham's Nice to hear from you, Sandi, there is a music club here in Nashville named Graham's, didn't get there; but passed by going to another club on 2nd st.
Hope all is well,
Joane

We plan our route to include places of interest going to and fro and have included Williamsburg, Baltimore, Washington DC, St. Augustine, Savannah, Charlestown, Myrtle Beach, Florida's Pan Handle, New Orleans, Atlanta, Memph... full info
