10 days ago I had my first ever Vegas experience and it was drunken, tiring, mind boggling, completely overdone, exactly what you see in the movies AND fun. It started at 5am from my apartment and a time change of 3 hrs, however 2 bloody marys eased the transition as did a few beers. By the time I hit Vegas I was already tired so checked into my home for the next 3 days which was none other than the MGM Grand. Hey Everyone. Nashville was my last travelling weekend for a little while...well at least until I get bored and head off somewhere else . Now Im a firm believer that music does not require 2 types...ie country AND western, however I set off to the home of the two with a classmate of mine, Autumn Daniels from Texas. Now at 4ft 10.5 she is the shortest person currently in the USN, however coming from Texas nothing small continued on our adventure and we headed to Nashville Tennessee in her F250 pickup truck....(she takes a run up and has a special step). My next adventure occurred over a long weekend (martin luther king jr day) and started off with a classmate getting free tickets to a Atlanta Thrashers vs Toronto Maple Leafs NHL ice hockey game. Not being much of a fan of it on TV (still not) I was amazed that it is a great game to watch live. Lots of cheering great atmosphere and sumo hockey as half time entertainment. Hi Y'all (yep Ive picked it up) Installment from Alabama below. Being on course and in Athens Georgia, the weekends have given me a chance to get away. Hello Hello my Xmas in NY installment for you all. I leave Jacksonville at 75 degrees and Im warm in a long sleeve shirt however I have packed another shirt to go on top of it and then a massive ski jacket which Im quickly getting sick of carrying around the airport. In true US style no one listens to boarding instructions so we leave 25mins late due to impatience and people not understanding that their ticket that says 7A does not equate to boarding with rows 15-24...who would have thought? Hi Everyone, Well its been 6 days since Ive left home to start my USA adventure and I thought I should provide you all with an update.
