Awesome.
I've been doing these AMA Grand Tours for about a decade now. Finish some of them, run out of time on others. I'm signed up for this one and have plenty of places to visit this summer that I've never been to before. My wife calls all of the pictures I've taken on these tours bike butt pictures as that's where my 'rally' sign is. have fun.

Will the rain ever stop!!
Hi Alec, Just a quick note to say 'hello'. I was in the CF1K last year, and was looking forward to this year until mother nature threw me a curve last November. I had my back surgery last week, and now enjoy being able to sit at the computer without arm and hand-numbing pain. 2 May is the first check on the fusion progress, and will probably set the tempo for the next four to six months. With luck, I'll be back in the saddle this Fall, and certainly by next Spring. All went well and here's to a full season of rubber-down riding for you. Hope you got your lights fixed. Stay in touch, Mike

Wow
I like the bike. You mount it way up on the handle bars? How easy is that to take on and off? Mine is a Boulevard C50T. I looked hard at the Spirit from Honda, but liked this one a bit better and it had a great deal on it at the time. I need to get some current pictures up.

There's that BBQ again.
Good to see you writing again. Sounds like you need to keep a close eye on those little battery thieves.

Congrats!!
Great adventure, neat the whole family can work with it too. I have a HP camera just like that... tip it fits perfect in the pelican water proof box I have on my handlebars. I love that camera, fits in a vest pocket, or front pants pocket. A great point and shoot, I can work it with one hand as sometimes I have it tethered to my tank bag and I take pics without stopping. It can take a licking and keeps on ticking. Good reward for your accomplishment.

Lights, Camera ...
I agree ... glad you are driving safely ... HOWEVER, I sure hate when those sorts of BRIGHT LIGHTS are coming down the road facing me or I get the glare in my rear view mirror. That said ...... I suppose since it helps you be a safer driver ... I am good with it! :)

Our Original 1930 Filling Station in Laurens SC
Hi!! We enjoyed your photos on this website!! We are the ones who restored this little original 1930 gas station. We bought this property after moving from the Greater Tampa area back in Nov 2002. Love the Carolinas!! Love the change of Seasons!! My husband and I are proud of our little place called Nostalgic Station. We have alot of ideas and plans for helping our community grow and enjoy this little station. We are having our 1st Classic Car Cruise-In this Friday, Nov 5th. From now on in...we plan on having this cruise in the 1st Friday of each month from 6 to 10pm Rain or Shine....Cold or Heat....We also plan on doing some "Retro Nights at Nostalgic Station" When you see our Mascot (he is in the process of being restored....clue: Warner Bros/Looney Tunes character with a huge black tail with a white stripe) out in front....you will know an event is happening that night at Nostalgic Station. We plan on having free 50s Sitcom nights: I Love Lucy Marathons...Leave It To Beaver....The 3 Stooges....Andy of Mayberry...and of course: The Little Rascals. Fun music events too in the future. We will be opening a shop in the not too far future carrying many collectables and antiques and unusual old racing memorabilia and rare items. Check Out Our Website: Nostalgicstation.com Thanks again for taking some great photos of our place and listing us on this website!! Sincerely, Rich & Cindy Kuhnel 1110 W Main St (Hwy 76) Laurens SC 29360

Looking Good!
The cockpit is looking like a serious rally bike Alex! Engine noise is pretty common problem, you might try wrapping the mix-it in tin foil. I know it sounds crazy but you need to either shield it or move it farther away from the alternator.

Congrat's Alec
Saw your list and like your new steed. I'm getting that new bike wanderlust as well. Take care getting familiar with the new ride. Mike
