The Sweetest, Kindest Daughter Ever You make me want to jump on a plane and be at your side RIGHT THIS MINUTE! Taryn, you are such a wonderful person, and I'm glad you're mine:)
Blessings to you! What a blessing to spend time with your mom in such an enchanted land.
Can't wait to hear of all your adventures directly from you.
God is good.
I am intrigued by the Stone Forest, the dancers, the food. I look forward to reading every Chinglish sign you photograph and am delighted to be related to the Amazon :) So glad your mom had a wonderful time.
How cool is that? What an adventure. Dave wants to know how the hike could possibly be harder than hiking up the escarpment at the Bruce. There are stairs there, too, ya know. HA. I've been to the Great Wall and I know you haven't seen stairs until you've been to China. You have a great time with your Mom!
Love, Teri (and Dave)
It is wonderful to see your pictures and read your captions and hear how much you are enjoying this trip! I am looking forward to seeing pics of you and your mom!!
WOW What a trip! You took splendid pictures. My heart is still racing after seeing the snow and cliffs. Glad you made it safe and sound. Loved that you fell asleep at 9:30:) Counting the days until I see you, Scoot!
Your description of "terriyfing cat" was hilarious. I am still laughing that the member of the Grenz family who is named in your blog is our precious, darling, wonderful cat :)
I am sorry to hear about your homesickness - not fun but not unusal.....
Your pictures are amazing and your blog is terrific! - thank you very much!
I will not give you the big lecture on the importance of emptying your bladder in a timely fashion to prevent UTI's.......I would be tempted to do the same!! Your pictures continue to be wonderful and I am so impressed with your adventures :)
Hope Taryn, I can feel your homesickness but always keep in mind that nothing lasts forever(well almost nothing) and you have all the goodies to look forward to. Thank you so much for letting me share in this adventure with you. Your Grams and I just got back from the Bahama's (sp) and I am very gratefu that I do NOT live there!!! Grams Betty
Great post Another excellent blog - very well written. About equal in impact as the pictures you took. It's crazy how it's the smallest things we miss when we're home-sick - the little things we take for granted everyday. Once you get back here, I'm sure there will be things you miss about China :P I loved the "Land Before Time" reference by the way - made me laugh - keep it up! These adventures are so incredibly awesome
WE MISS YOU IN USA! Hope things are going great Taryn! We miss you, I miss you. The wedding plans are going great, got my dress! (finally) Email me sometime and I'll send you pictures of what's going on over in the states.
<3<3
Unbelievable I'm sitting here with my jaw on the floor - that place looks amazing! Absolutely breathtaking! From the pictures, it looked like you had the place to yourself to yourselves haha - were there many other people there? I hope you can continue to find awesome places like this - I'm sure the pictures don't quite do these places justice, but your photography skills are definitely helping bring them to life :D
