I LOVE the pics of you and your blog!
We went to Eliot's meet today - it was fun b/c your Uncle Burt could explain lots to me, as this was the first wrestling match I had ever been to.
I took a zillion pics of Eliot but have pared them down to 150 or so and will go through them again before posting to FB.
So glad that your experience thus far is WONDERFUL!
I want to be where you are!!!!! Taryn,
So glad you arrived safely and are doing well! I hope and pray your body is starting to adjust to the new time zone. Thank you for letting me live vicariously through you! Those are about the cutest pandas I have ever seen! We are studying all things black and white this week at Polka Dot Garden so I am going to show your pictures of the pandas. Have a good week! God Bless!
Love, Janey
What great pics! What floor is your dorm room on? What is the weather like?
Perhaps I should tag along with your mom..... (LOL)
Still don't have a computer at home but soon, I hope.
Julianna is going to flip when she sees the kitty picture!
Love you!!!!! Aunt Aimee
Miss You I've read your blog and seen your pictures. Don't worry, Mom subscribed me to your blog. I liked it. Take more pictures. And is there really lots of stray cats and dogs around?
Great Photos All 15 photos are there - they're laid out kind weird, but they look great! Has it been that gray/foggy the whole time? Regardless, it looks awesome and I'm totally jealous of that view!
To Jackson Yes, It has been rather grey so far... It is actually the smog (something that I always took for granted was clean air back in GR).... But there will be some sunny warm days coming up!
Your mom emailed me to let me know and Nana called me to let me know so I am thrilled to know you are safe and sound :)
We still do not have a computer (the motherboard died in our laptop) but we have purchased a computer and will have it later this week and I can't wait to keep up with your adventures! (Right now I am at the library) Love you!! Aunt Aimee
I miss you already! Taryn!
I am so glad to hear that everything is going well! I have been thinking about you the past few days and was hoping to find a way to reach you, and here it is :) I love you and even if things are crazy and confusing right now, I know you can handle it. You will have the time of your life while in China, enjoy every minute of it because before you know it, you will be home. If you can/want to, email me whenever! I love you and miss you.

Never Alone! "Like!"
A while back, I decided to banish FEAR and WORRY (names of two Demons, I think) from my life and live as POSITIVE as possible. It required me to rely on God more, simply take ONE step at a time, even though sometimes you can't see more than a few feet down the path. But when you *know* you are on the right path, fear is gone. And don't worry if you are on "THE" right path, as long as you know you're trying to do the right thing. God provides us with a CHOICE of MANY "right" paths each one with some amazing ADVENTURE to discover or LESSON to learn.
God-speed, Taryn! we are blessed to have you in our lives.
PS: Ask Nick about how I've always played Steven Curtiss Chapman's "Great Adventure" song (the full one with orchestra prelude) before as we rolled out the driveway to any big trip. In fact, I recommend you put it on your iPod and do the same thing on your way to the airport!
Thanks, Now I'm Crying Oh, Taryn. Think of us as your fellow travelers like Lord of the Rings. We are your hobbits, though not always with you, always with you.
