Fraser Island I finished Bill Bryson's book, In a Sunburned Country, at around 10AM on a Saturday morning at our house overlooking Orchid Beach on Fraser Island. Luke and Emily were napping after a biteless morning fishing trip and the temperature and humidity were already at uncomfortable levels, so Amy and I took the opportunity to get some leisurely morning reading under our belts. Bryson's book is essentially an account of the multitude of ways that Australia has (and could've) kicked his ass - the continent contains all 10 of the world's most deadly snakes, Box Jellyfish, people drinking their own urine trying to hang on to life while stranded in the Outback, etc., etc. He's very descriptive and reading him has made me - what I'm beginning to realize now having not seen a massive,
