Hey! Just wanted everyone to know that I'm safely home in the US of A. I'm getting settled into my dorm in New Haven for my summer teaching job. I'm so sick of packing and unpacking, it's ridiculous, but I'm grateful for the morning jetlag, so I can get up and get things accomplished before breakfast. Just so you all know, there are more blog posts coming down the pipeline on the Joe/Sarah blog. We still have to share the end of Madrid, and a surprise city that wasn't expected. Sorry for the delay in posting. We have really irregular internet access, so now we're a bit behind in our blogs. Walk Home
Salut! So I had a great weekend. It began with me walking home from school on Wednesday (yes I did say Wednesday, yea for long weekends). The sun was shining, the weather was great, and I enjoy walking home. I've posted pictures of sights along my walk each day, I walk 40 minutes one-way to get to school, to save money on the bus. When it's nice out I really enjoy it. Then, I woke up bright and early Thursday morning to jet down to Marseille for a weekend of sun and adventure. Yes, I did it, I went all by myself. Train to Nice
Salut! It's been awhile since my last post, and therefore I find myself back in front of my computer screen searching for creative and witty ways to explain to you my experiences. This past week I had the privilege of hanging out with my Mom and her good friend Joy in Nice, Villefranche and Paris. They arrived in Besancon a little scraggly from the long cross Atlantic flight ;) and I cooked a nice dinner of pasta and green beans. Mom discovered the joy of Magnum bars (a decadent ice cream bar only available in Europe and South America). The next morning we headed off to Nice, my first time in the south of France.
