Hey! Just wanted everyone to know that I'm safely home in the US of A. I'm getting settled into my dorm in New Haven for my summer teaching job. I'm so sick of packing and unpacking, it's ridiculous, but I'm grateful for the morning jetlag, so I can get up and get things accomplished before breakfast. Salut! So I had a great weekend. It began with me walking home from school on Wednesday (yes I did say Wednesday, yea for long weekends). The sun was shining, the weather was great, and I enjoy walking home. I've posted pictures of sights along my walk each day, I walk 40 minutes one-way to get to school, to save money on the bus. Salut! It's been awhile since my last post, and therefore I find myself back in front of my computer screen searching for creative and witty ways to explain to you my experiences. This past week I had the privilege of hanging out with my Mom and her good friend Joy in Nice, Villefranche and Paris. They arrived in Besancon a little scraggly from the long cross Atlantic flight ;) and I cooked a nice dinner of pasta and green beans.
