You're inspiring me.
I think after this I may need to be searching for 2 motorcycles, a Road Glide and a BMW... Great to read about your trip!

history
Hi Rob, Love the history lessons, when I get free time in the winter I usually pick up some books on American History, great stuff, I've learned more since being out of school than I did when I was in school. Hope you have awesome travel today, Memorial Day, thanks for your many years of service, stay safe. Steve W. (Grand Rapids, not ND Steve W., I'm never sure if people keep us straight on FB etc.)

Great History Lesson
Hi Rob, This blog is really great. Not only for its history lesson but for its pictures and travel update. Keep them coming. Sorry I missed your going away blast in Bismarck. When I last talked to you I had forgotten that my brother Tom from Fargo was in town for the night for a mini family get-together. Safe Travels.....Vern

Made it to Cabot Trail
Thanks Chris for logging onto my blog. Made it to Cabot Trail but the weather is terrible last two days. Strong winds and cold temps. Today was rainy on the Cabot in the am but sunny in the pm. Staying at Pleasant Bay and tomorrow is predicting sunny...wohoo. Take care. Keep the sunny side up.

Peggy's Cove
Enjoying the blog. Looking forward to the next one. Keep safe. If you get a chance, the light house I was talking about, Peggys Cove, is 43 kilometres southwest of downtown Halifax on the easern shore of St. Margaret's Bay. Would love a picture.

granddaughters' request
The girls have requested that you have more pictures of you in them. They get super excited to read the blog and don't understand why you aren't in all the pictures. Hard to explain to a 4 and 2 year old that you are traveling ALONE. I really love the pictures, though. Maybe when Riley gets in middle school...she may want to trek with you. Think about it.

Thanks Everyone
Thank you for taking an interest in my motorcycle travels. I know you enjoy but the real reason is that in my old age and when I am not able to ride, I can go to my travels and relive the adventure.

Mileage
My daily average has been between 400 and 500 miles...but that is to get to my destination. Once I get to NS, NB and PEI I will average 200 to 300 miles per day...give me time to enjoy the ride.

Riding Solo
I like riding solo but then it would be nice to have some riding companions who have the same riding style as I do. Up early, break camp and on the road for about two hours before eating breakfast. But that is just me.

Hi Rob, I hope when the opportunity arrives for me to travel like this that I have the discipline to log my travels like you. You just continue to be my mentor in ways I never expected. Rick

Rugby
Sorry we missed your send-off. Prayers are with you. Just a point of interest. The actual spot of the Geographical center of North America is in a slough SE of Rugby. God Speed.

Bon Voyage
Great to see you on your way....I am so disappointed I had to miss your send off party...AGAIN...I have a question...do you prefer riding solo or would you prefer riding with companions. I know I like both...riding time to myself and with others, but the best for me is one on one, with one other companion riding on the trip. It seems you're never alone on your travels anyway, you tend to seek people out., like the series "On The Road" with Charles Kurault. Rick

Rain seems to be a common theme starting with the night of your sendoff picnic. Nevertheless it is fun following your trip through the eyes of your blog. Have a safe day Rob.

Look forward to reading all about your trip. Keep safe.
