Jack Gunness-Double G Service at Muncho Lake

Double G and Jack
My wife and I spent an afternoon and night at Double G on our trip from Southern California to Alaska. Jack and his motel and restaurant were one of high lights of our trip. The room we stayed in was on the far right in the picture , what a great nights sleep in a very cozy room. Best of all in our stay was the breakfast, possible the best we ever had. Thank you Jack, we will see you again.

Digby, Nova Scotia ride
Rob, Thanks for all the details of another "ADVNTR" ride...lots of great sights to behold in the banks of memory for later reflections after getting old and having to sit and think of all the places that God has created and allowed us to visit. I would be glad to excahnge some email traffic with you and would like to get some details of some of your northern rides as I am down below Atlanta, Ga myself. Thanks and ride safe, Tony Spires email:tonyspires@yahoo.com

Ride to the North
Tony, sorry it took so long to respond. This summer rode to Churchill on Hudson Bay and kayaked with over 300 Beluga whales. Totally awesome. My email is rokeller1@gmail.com so shoot me an email and we can share some ride ideas. I am always looking for more and interesting rides. Rob Keller

Alaska Highway 2011
I too made the trip alone last year, relying heavily on the man upstairs, Kuddos, This was a most awesome ride last year and will probably do it again next summer.

Replica of 1930-40s Tourist Bus

Not a replica
The "Jammers" you saw are not replicas, they're the original buses. They were re-worked courtesy of Ford in the early 2000's to have propane burning V-8's and upgraded brakes, but they're the original White buses.

Pleasure to meet you on the plane to MSP!
Hi Rob, I just wanted to say what a pleasure it was to meet you yesterday on the flight from DCA to MSP! I was intrigued by your stories and fascinated with your passion for adventure. Your blogs are quite interesting to read and the photos are amazing. Your bike is a beauty; I too, would seriously enjoy hitting the roads cross country with that piece of machinery! I look forward to reading of your future travels and adventures and hope to stay in touch. Warmest Regards, Laura Frederickson Minneapolis, MN
