I'm sure after sampling our crazy midnight journey in Mumbai you're hungry for more white knuckle information on our next taxi ride! Now the journey down to Goa went far better than our journey in Mumbai. It said on the internet that our hotel was indeed 2 minutes from the airport, the domestic terminal not the international as we had originally thought. What was more impressive was the guy didnt need to ask for directions in order to get there. We got ourselves checked in on one of the many jetstar gates and made our way to security. What was different about this security gate was that the male has to have all of the bags and documents as they pass through the gate. It appears here that the male is the decision maker (they obviously ... read more

Are you ready for another crazy adventure from the happy wanderers! We left the sunny shores of Australia after spending a week in the red light district of Sydney. To be fair it was a fantastic place and reminded us a lot of home. It had happy hours and a fantastic climate, everyday was a warm sunny day...then rain...then more sun, suppose thats not like home at all! The first day we got there it was a sweltering 37 degrees, flight socks weren't worn long that day I can tell you! The people in Sydney are certainly nicer than those in Brisbane. Oh yeah don't think we said about dropping off the campervan in Cairns, well to be fair it all went well, after we had cleaned it it was certainly cleaner than when we got ... read more

Its been our final week now in Australia. Just to keep it simple and try our best not to ramble on like a good un, we have filled our last week in Sydney with lots of exciting things. Some included staying for a week in the red light district of Sydney called Kings Cross. Here we tried our best to pimp out ourselves but unfortunatly they couldnt understand the exchange rate and tax was a problem, so we just went out on day trips instead! Things to do which we did in Sydney: Walked on top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Walked around the opera house, Walked on Bondi Beach where all the beautiful people are, needless to say we fitted in nicely there! Went to Manly Beach and bought a pair of thongs, I looked ... read more

The Australians call in "Tarka" weather, it's like normal weather but a little otter! There have been some comments, well only one, who has mentioned it that our crazy adventure stories are a bit long! So we've thought about this and decided to narrow it down a bit! Thus far in Australia we have done the following; Been to Hervey Bay and saw humpback whales, and spent the day on Fraser Island in a 4wheel drive lorry,  Enjoyed a session at a winery and sampled some wine, bought a coupla bottles and sampled more later, Went to Great Keppel Island and stayed 2 nights in a safari tent, listened to lots of wild life throughout the night, and some blokes wild girlfriend in the morning! She should have been approached with more caution, or not fed ... read more

Meanwhile on the other side of the world... Our Eco friendly camper van, which we fill up every night just in case we get snowed in, and still standing by our descision to turn down a nice, lovely, warming heater! We arrived in Queenstown, first impressions.. Saint Tropez! This is where the beautiful people hang out, so therefore we both fitted straight in to the way of life here! We pulled up to a council owned campsite, thought this may be the better option as the more exclusive TopTen one would be more expensive, it probably was, but this cost us $36-00, thats about 20 quid, our most expensive yet! That didn include showers at an extra dollar for 8 minutes worth of shower time, and laundry, (as now down to the one pair of pants ... read more

Well what can we say...loads has happened since our last blog! When we last wrote on here we had been to the bay of plenty and White island. From there we took a leisurely drive down to Lake Taupo, more hot springs here so we didn't stay too long, just long enough for Ric to find a golfing game where you hit golf balls and try to get them onto a man made island floating on the lake! Of course the prizes are great IF you can take up the challenge AND win however the task is nearly impossible but was a good laugh all the same. From there we drove to a city called Napier on the east coast which is full of art deco architecture...mainly because the city was destroyed in an earthquake, I think, ... read more

The story so far.. We have arrived in Rotorua, which is a town with lots of geothermal activity, such things include; geysers, hot springs and mub baths that explode! The first thing that you'll notice is the constant steam that rises from various locations around the town, the second thing is the smell! It's like being sat next to someone on the bus who brings rotten egg sandwhiches and farts.. alot!.. Blur!  We found a campsite conviently located because, across the road was a watering hole called The Corner Pub. Here we went for a well earned pint after a long days travelling! We walked in thinking it would be full of travelling types with maps on tables looking for their next point of interest.. Er no.. It was more like youth club! In fact any ... read more

Well after we boarded our magic 'back to the future' which fast forwarded us 24 hours as it hit the runway doin a mysterious 88 mph we arrived in auckland at 4.05am after waiting around a bit.. Phoning some people and havin a long over due shower we made our way to collect what we will be calling home for the next few weeks! After gettin a airport shuttle bus thingy, with a driver who didnt know where he was takin us, we got dropped off about half a mile from the depot for our camper! Not a good start! To make things better it turned out the reservation on there computer said it was an airport pick up! Thats not what it said on MY email! So a half mile walk with our world on ... read more

Hello again it's been our last full day in santiago today, and to make it even more enjoyable it has rained nearly all afternoon, you know the really fine stuff that gets you ever so wet! Lets fill you in on our crazy goings on down here in Spainish Latin American Chile.. Meanwhile back at the 199th independence day celebrations, we Decided to do what every other English person does on patriotic days such as St Patricks day and Xmas eve.. and went to the pub! Here we got speaking to a waiter called Diego, he showed us his vast knowledge of Chile by giving us directions of places to go using google earth on my Ipod! He was to be fair quite a nice bloke, we think he got told off by his boss cos ... read more

If we can start by retracting our statement "first impressions.... DUMP!" under section 14, paragraph 9 sub heading 2:1 of the United inter-Relations About Chilean Observational Congress Kaisers. Which is a mouthful to say so they choose U.R.A.C.O.C.K for short! That after being here a couple of days now and doing the usual tourist thing, and did a bus trip around the city, we can now retract our statement earlier this week and in fact give Santiago a big Wic & Lisab thumbs up! We've visited loads of places today and met some lovely people, one of which hated Gordon Brown and Bush so you instictively know he's relatively sound! We met a great few tour guides who told us the places to go to tommorrow to celebrate their indendence day... Only 199 years old! How ... read more
