After a blackout at Sydney Airport causing the delay of my first flight, missing of my connecting flight and subsequent loss of my bags for the next two days, it was a rough start to my first experience of travelling alone. The Hostel I was staying at was great. Within the first few hours I was already making travel plans with Marok, a Slovakian guy over here for work training, and later on Kong, a Chinese student studying in America, and Rhett, a photographer and club promoter from Miami. The four of us travelled three hours south of Miami to Key West, the United States’ most southerly point, a touristy place where we spent the day paddle boarding and sight seeing.
