Hello! Good to hear that arriving home isn't so bad! I really enjoyed reading your blog - keep hold of your sense of adventure... now you have all of the UK and Europe on your doorstep and ready to explore : )
Welcome Home Great to read your blog and compare your thoughts with the places that we had been. Just envious that we did do only 3 months and not 9, maybe I'll start planning again. Now its down to reality and its not easy trust me.
Best Wishes Chris Lincoln

Birthday! Thanks for all the birthday messages - we finally managed to celebrate in style in Phnom Penh at the Foriegn Correspondents Club with a posh meal and lots of wine. V x
Happy Anniversary and Birthday Hello!! I have had a few difficulties logging on to net so apologies for the late message. It is so fantastic reading your diary entries and seeing some pics. You must be having an amazing time. I just keep wondering what you are up to at random times in the day when I am here in Ashford!!! Wish we could come visit you somewhere on your trip but that is not going to be possible.
Will mail your hotmail address as well
Take care of each other! xxxxxxxxxxx
Happy Birthday I don't know how long it is between checking your emails, but just in case it's not for a week have a fantastic birthday Ness - what will you be doing? It'll have to be the best one yet! Are you guys watching the rugby? The English team have only gone and sabotaged my birthday - but I think we're supposed to be pleased about it ;) Great to hear from you guys, those pictures look amazing, they look professional it's mad to see them as your own, I don't know you see clips on news and documentries etc. bit it doesn't seem quite as real as those. Can't wait to hear from you and see you - missing you xxx
Hi Sue Not been tempted by the battered grubs yet, after seeing the bags full of live, rather large insects today think we'll give them a miss!
Not been sick out the window, although spitting out the window for locals is favourite so need to watch out for that too....
Off to Mama's place tonight, although we think it has moved recently so could be interesting finding it. Beers on the river banks of the Mekong watching the sun set last nigt was fantastic. Would love it if people come out to join us so we can share our experiences.
Hi Dan and Vanessa
Looks like you are having a great time. Have you tried the battered grubs yet? Daniel, not the best time to find out you have travel sickness. Hope you weren't sick out of the bus window as you know what happens to the people behind you!!!!
Make sure you find Mamas house restaurant (assuming it is still there) in Savanakhet - amazing chicken and very cold beer. I wish we could come out and re-live some memories with you.
Hi Ness en Dan,
It's great to read up on youre travels! I just got back from Indonesie (Java and Bali) and reading your adventures, is making me want to go again! Who would have thought that you (Ness) of all people would travel around the world! I didn't think you had it in you after youre travels through USA. You make me proud and jealous! I have been to Thailand a few years back, and you are right it's great! Hope to keep reading about your travels! Have fun and be safe!
Lots of Love from Holland!
Bob
The Hair Hi Dan, that is definitely the shortest I have ever seen your hair, but practical, looks like you are both having a wicked time, great pics and blog, did you try the chocolate and banana pancakes on Kao san road, they are really nice, if you havent give the market food a try - its really pretty good.
You look so happy! i would say i am jealous and I really miss you. . . . both of which are true, but more importantly I am sooooooo happy for you.
You look like you are having the most amazing time. It is so great to be able to track your adventure with you and share in your experiences. How wonderful that you are seeing so many parts of the world and how other cultures live. Thailand and Malaysia are not as intimidating as india, although malaysia is quite heavy on covering shoulders and ankles in some parts. . . not that I am an expert, but I remember feeling a bit disprespectable when we first arrived there in vest tops. Anyway, please keep the blogs? coming.
The thought of school without my mate is very wierd. . . but you DEF have the right idea!!!
Miss you loads and love to both of you xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
