If you have the time and/or the money to travel a bit, check Samaná on the Atlantic, or Sosúa (4 hours by bus) or Cabarete; it's a different sight and feeling of the country. Also, have you read "The Feat of the Goat" or "The Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao"? Together with "In the Time of the Butterflies", they are great introductions to Dominican history!

Hola Jose!! Como estas? It sounds like spring break was muy bueno! What a kick that your super fan shirt was the reason you met the Hennessey's cousin! All roads lead to BC!!!! Watch those busu=es please Joseph!!!! I mean it and you know why...take a cab if you can. We saw your parents and Murphys and more BC screaming Eagles 2 weeks ago and ha a lot of fun. Winter has left us and today was a bright sunny day and the Red Sox won today on opening day against Detroit 5 to 0!! We spent Easter in NY. Waiting for your safe return and the CAPE Jose!! Sounds Fun! Hey Joe - It sounds like you are having a great time down there. I just wanted to post to say that I hope you continue to have fun in the days you have remaining and have a safe trip back to the states. It is going to be a little strange not being around everyone when we all get back it the fall. Anyways, it good to see the trip is a success! We'll have to catch up at some point.
