| 24th January 2007 Kat | - From: Still alive..... Hey guys - I never went to Koh Sumui, we stayed in Koh Phangnan which was really nice and went to the full moon party there which was one of the most random experiences of my life! Still, the rest of your Thailand trip sounds like you've had a great time - and those elephants!! Wow! You don't get to do that everyday eh?!! Cannot wait to see you next week - hope you're not too upset about leaving. Have missed you loads and cannot wait to see all the pics and videos! Love you xxx |

| 23rd January 2007 PhilAndShell | Re: Koh Samui - From: Still alive..... Quote from Shep: "Ah that will be Koh Samui we all know and love" Really?!? |
| 23rd January 2007 PhilAndShell | Re: Samui - From: Still alive..... Nah we didn't even bother with Koh Phangnan matey; we'd been told by several people (maybe correctly or incorrectly) that it was just as bad. Apparently there was a "black moon party" but after the horrors of Koh Sumui we couldn't be bothered with it to be perfectly honest. Maybe another time we'll venture there? The marine park was a much needed escape from Koh Sumui but the place is littered with washed up rubbish! Nice place; just needs a clean! |
| 23rd January 2007 PhilAndShell | It's gone too quick! - From: Still alive..... Hey spanna! Looking forward to seeing you too, but not the english weather, it looks horrible! See you very very soon - love shelley |
| 23rd January 2007 Mik | Samui - From: Still alive..... Totally agree with you and Uncle Travelling Matt aka Michael Palin aka Shep. Samui is the pits, hated it. Especially after Chiang Mai. Our beach wasn't too bad (2nd time around) on Samui but Phangnan was better. Do any raving at the Full Moon Party? I wish I'd have gone to the marine park but there was a bad storm the day me and shep were supposed to go. Enjoy peeps. |

I can almost see my house - haha! It looks like you had good weather then (& took some great photos). Sorry to see that the weather hasn't been so great more recently, but hope you are enjoying your trip anyway. Good luck! Toni xx |
