Buen suerte Hey guys, best of luck. Great to see you Dave (and return the phone!), shame we didn't get a chance to catch up Pen, but I will be in NYC before the end of the year, so we can catch up then.

Bon Voyage Hi Guys,
Have a fabulous time in that big juicy red apple of a city. I will look forward to enjoying your adventures through your blog. Great idea! And will definately keep in touch.
Lots of love
Hedley
OMG!!!!!! OMG!!! Are you both ok? I can't belive it and take my hat off to you both. There is no way I would have survived that... I thought the treks in Indonesia were bad - This tops anything I have ever heard. I'm still in Shock after reading your hike... Someone is definately watching over you two.

Wow! That sounds fantastic ... I love surprises! Glad you had a birthday you'll never forget, Dave ... can I add our best wishes too. Glad India is proving to be all that China was not, Penny! xx
Cast of Thousands I can't take all the credit ..... the whole idea was concocted by Dave's mates back home: Paul, Sook, Lee and Poon. Then my friend Sarah did some background work to score VIP tickets. All I had to do was secretly book a flight and lead dave to believe we were heading elsewhere, (pretty simple:). It took a cast of thousands to organise this surprise, but I reckon Dave will remember his 30th forever now!
OMG!!! That would have been soo exciting, awesome experience. I'm not sure who would have been more excited, penny- that is such a lovely thing to organise and dave what a dream come true- i would have loved to see your face. Many birthday wishes! see you soon guys...... x
the reunion in sydney Hi Vicki,
thanks so much for having us share your Rajasthan holiday. The fun we had goes to prove that old adage "more the merrier", doesn't it?
Can't wait to try John's slow-cooked meat and share photos when we get back to Oz. And we'll have to cook up a Keralan feast one night to show you what we learnt in Cochin. So many yummy foods.
Looking forward to seeing the results of your scrapbook. You are so talented!
Penny and Dave.
Hi Penny and Dave, great blog, can't wait to find out how Dave liked his birthday surprise.
We had a great time traveling with you, don't forget to come and visit when you return to Oz. We have lots of great pictures, I will be starting my book soon, bought a book on Indiacolour which has given me a good idea on how to set it out.
Bit hard to start back at work! it has even rained and is quiet cold compared to Mumbai.
Vicki
Thanks for the tip off! Well, Penny and Dave, if I ever get round to taking a 'Round the World' trip, I guess I will save quite a bit of money by missing out China, which I think I would definitely do having tagged along on your trip - I feel violated and I haven't even left my armchair ... so thanks! Enjoy India xxx
Ohhh...the difference of cleaniness! Penny and Dave,
Read both your concepts of China. They were both interesting, especially Penny's version of events...she sounds like she is under the weather and needing recovery. When you feel like that you wish you were at home in bed, and I have been through it backpacking in Indonesia, the so called "Bali Belly" yes I got it. Penny, hope you get better and Dave all the best with taking care of her...stay away from food sold on the street....
The climbing of the wall sounded and looked fantastic...Obviously something you two will remember forever! As for the rude people...best to just ignore them, as they will only bug you more!
Be Safe and Well,
Rosanne
Hello Tokyo! Penny and Dave,
I was so overwhelmed by the pictures of the tuna and the sizes of them. Bloddy amazing!
I would have been in those crazy store of stuff for us kids that grew up with all that too...Hope you bought up Penny!

Re: Japan...in the Making! Penny and Dave,
Your travels are sounding so funny from my computer...I laughed so hard at that film of the so called 12 year old dancing or stripping? Who teaches children to act like that and in public? I hear you r trying Saki? Ha Ha...how much did you guys have? Because I know only a little knocks the Sh#T out of you!
I am reading your blogs as much as I can, when I can...
Once again take Care...
Rosanne
