Live in Southern California in Twentynine Palms, CA. I am with the U.S. military and I work as an Air Traffic Controller. I have been lucky in that I have been able to see some other parts of the world but it has only encouraged my travel bug within me to bite and bit hard. I have a year and a half left and then I will hopefully be on my way to Australia for my dream trip and dream experience of backpacking there for 6 months to a year. If possible I would like to end up there for good living and working. I love to backpack whether it traveling or in the mountains so if you ever need a partner just get in touch and I'll be there.

Spent one week with my girlfriend and two amazing friends from back home in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. It is truly one of the best trips I have ever been on simply because people still at my age mostly go on trips to drink heavily and not do much other than that. I was able to do a lot, see a lot and take a lot from the trip and for the first time I feel very content with my vacation.... read more

Okinawa... I've been living here now for almost 2 years and this is the first entry i have. As far as the island goes, if you're an outdoors person or if you love the ocean this is the place to be. While living here i've gotten into Scuba diving and i've learned a complete new respect for the ocean. If you make it this way i recommend seeing the southern half of the island which in turn has become highly Americanized and more adapted to a tourist culture than to a Japanese culture. If you are like me and you like to get away and be secluded from what we know on a regular basis then you'll want to check out the outer lying islands that can be reached by many boats and ferries that leave ... read more

Been is South Korea now for about 3 weeks with one week left. Up to this point it's been amazing. I've spent the majority of my time in Seoul but have visited outside areas such as Seohyeon, Insadong, Osan, Jamsil, Suraksan, and others. Seoul itself has been such a trip just due to the people i've ran into from the surrounding countries. Was in a little Salsa place called Caliente's and had a great time dancing and meeting all sorts of people. The subway takes you just about anywhere so there is no excuse to not see this country. Hiked up Mt. Suraksan which is about an hour north Seoul, Simply breathtaking views. There's a lot of great places i recommend... Lotte World which is an indoor theme park in Jamsil, Mt. Suraksan, in Seohyeon is ... read more
