Well, the rest of my travels through Italy considered of much sleeping on buses as I was carted from Rome to Florence to Venice. The week of partying and definitely taken its tool on my and by body didn't appreciate the early morning wake-ups and my attempts to continue partying late into the night. Eventually it gave in and I hovered on the edge of illness until I finally got some solid sleep on the floor at the back of the bus on the trip from Florence to Venice. Florence offered another good dose of Italian food and some good wine as well as a couple late-night venues that provided some entertainment for those few of us on the trip that didn't have bed-times before midnight (party photos will be posted in a future entry, ... read more

After a fun week of sight-seeing, partying and not much sleeping in Vienna, I joined my cousin Emil for a couple days in his house out by the countryside in the middle of Krumau. Krumau is a little Austrian village (couldn't actually find it on the map) with a population of 300. The surounding countryside was stunning and Krumau was everything you could hope for as a destination to escape the tourists and just chill out. My cousin's house was fantastic, an absolutely massive 3 story place fully equipped wtih sauna, fireplace, huge wine collection and a truly impressive liquor cabinent. This post is actually to cover the madness that was my time in Vienna, however thought I'd advertise to see if any random people, or friends of friends might be in Rome when I'm back there on Friday 18th-19th May (ugly people need not apply . . . and yes I know, everyone's beautiful on the inside). Anyways, back to business, apologies for the poor quality of the last post, will try to liven things up a bit and will avoid referring to Paul in the 3rd person, that was just stupid. Greetings all. For those of you who don't know I've finally returned to the wonderful state of living that is a proper overseas holiday. This holdiay consists of a month travelling around Europe, primarily in the Mediterranean. The first week I'm staying in cheap hostels and with relatives. The last three weeks I'm staying in five star hotels and on the cruise ship the Grand Princess. Which will I prefer, hostels or luxury? Only time will tell . . .
