Scuba diving? Wow, that's so neat. I hope you see a whale shark too! How cool would that be? I'm glad your trip has turned out to be so much fun. What an experience the two of you are having together? Lucas, I'm impressed with your fish catching skills. If I was ever standed on an island, I'd want you and lindsay there so we could go diving and eat fish.
what a life! You guys certainly are making the most of this trip. We want to go to Belize! The troll angel was hysterical. It took us a moment to recognize it. The unique hairstyle gave it away. We will send a copy to Gran with some others. Dad was suitably impressed with the fish, Lucas. Good job! Guess we'll all have to go back someday so you can use your scuba diving certification. We want to learn, too! Anxious to see your tan smiley faces next week.....
Howdy Great pictures, love all the heads. ;) All the amazing pictures are making me want to travel to cool exotic places. Hope the next country is as exciting as this one. Love you lots. Talk to you soon, and thanks for keeping up on your blog, it has been the highlight of my week this week. Ta ta
yipeee The snow is melting, we've all gone back to work/school. Not much else is new.
The ruins look awesome. The myan head has aged suspiciously well. Mabeline or Ponds or whoever tries to prevent aging should ship some researchers down there and figure it out.
Have fun in Belize. That's where lots of people have the one dread, the beaver tail hair style. Take pictures.
Misc. Thanks for the update. The town sounds pleasant. Name? I'll bet ruin touring feels a lot different than beach life. Will you be going to other ruins? Remember to be extra cautious in good old Guatemala. Ciao
tisk tisk Drea SNOW DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! It snowed so much that college campuses have cancellations. Lincoln was closed, but I still had PSU classes, until they were canceled. Chad and I are going to build a snowman in the Taco Time parking lot. :)
Good Luck at 4:30 in the morning. Keep your passports in your underwear, and maybe if you were your muddy hiking shoes, people won't assume you're american. :)
Hello from Corvallis I liked the misty lake picture, it was kind of magical looking. Sounds like things are going good still. It was nice to talk to you the other night lindsay. Josh and i got new jackets today from the Columbia Outlet store. Chris and Brian left today to go back home. I'm still sick, and maybe worse off than before. Mom's mad because she thinks I partied to much this weekend. Oh well. Come home soon. Love you lots. bye bye
Misc. Agree, really nice photos. In fact, the beach pictures you've been sending back are so enchanting that I am considering buying oceanfront property in Nicaragua. Looking at a place for 10,000,000,000 Cordoba. Is that a lot?? By the way, is Lucas reading in Spanish or English? Also, tips for stretching out the last few days, or in your case weeks, of a vacation... 1. Reverse the space-time continuum; 2. Hold your breath; 3. Walk really slowly; 4. Go back to where you started; 5. Listen to lots of classical music; and 6. Start planning your next trip. Have fun and stay safe. Bye bye
Hi I'm glad you two are going to that island, my customer will be so excited to hear that. Lindsay I had some chocolate cake tonight and thought of you. I started winter term this week and I currently have Bronchitis and Walking Pnemonia. (I think that's how you spell those words.) It's been a fun way to start the new term off. Chris and Brian arrive tonight, I'll give them a hug from you. I can't wait until you get back in a month. Hope the rest of your trip is the best part of the trip.
random notes from a dazed and overwhelmed person I didn't recognize Lucas at first with the kitten!
It snowed today, Lincoln had a late start, yippeeeee!
Chad comes home from school everyday and reads me his writing homework, I live with a genius!
Can sharks live in an enclosed body of water?
Have fun and enjoy every day!!!
sounds a lot like riding the 14. (it goes up Foster and passes by more than a dozen free clinics or so) The drivers don't necessarily stop when people need to be picked up or when you pull the bell. They deal with a seedy bunch all day and decide to make their own rules. It's a rather interesting ride.
HAPPY NEW YEAR !!! a little late... Your new years eve sounded like fun, espcially for lucas. Josh and I sang Karaoke all night with Rhett and his friend. We were at the bar that Amanda works at in Brownsville. It was pretty fun and at the end of the night I helped Amanda clean up. I sang four songs including a duet with this random girl. It was the song from Grease at the end of the movie. We were really silly.
P.S. Josh says hello and hopes things are going super.
Love you both and miss you lots.

Granada, eh? Sounds like your having an adventure. Are you two going to the other places that I emailed you? How's Lucas's foot doing? Hope your night is going great, mine is filled with car insurance cancelations, America's next top model marathons, and hopefully soon, a bottle of wine. See you in a month. --andrea
Travel Guide Ltd. Love the pic's, guys. Where's the bus? Or the kids? Or the muffin? Lake, volcano, or colonial architecture? Out of film???
I have a few theories for why the buses didn't stop. First, they are cutting costs by saving their brakes. Second, they have no brakes. Third, perhaps there is such a problem with crime the bus drivers are afraid to stop. Or fourth, they did stop but you have slowed down so much that, by the time you were ready to board, the bus was rolling again.
Tips for climbing up volcanoes. Wear really thick shoes. Don't step on anything red, orange, or oozing. Wear plenty of sun and ash block. Avoid crevices, cracks, and fissures. Follow the signs. Remember earthquakes, landslides, and eruptions could really mess up the day.
Ah, Lovely Granada, Canada. Located on the second largest lake in the Western Hemisphere. Home of reindeer, polar bears, and the aurora borealis. After the University of Wisconsin, has the second highest per capita consumption of beer in the Northern Hemisphere. Once the location for a failed Canadian TV sitcom called Moors on the Moors.
Love and Kisses, Your new travel guide
New Year Don't worry Lindsay, when Chad and I signed the witness sheet for the marriage, Chad signed your name so you can say you were there. At least that is what he told us in the car on the way to Rock Bottom.
Lucas, get ahold of Rhino and tell him to spray the hose a few times while the others project thier positive energy, I think it is the only way.
See you,
Caroline
